Grand Hyatt Changsha

Staying at Grand Hyatt Changsha was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—everything we wanted to see was either a short subway ride away or just a quick walk. We easily reached Yuelu Mountain and Orange Isle by metro, while Du Fu's Pavilion was literally across the street. It only took about 20 minutes to get to East Square, making it perfect for exploring the city without hassle. Around the hotel, there’s no shortage of great food and shopping—two convenient Haidilao locations within walking distance, and even Cha Yan Yue Se was just steps away. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with a calm, elegant atmosphere. Every staff member we met was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. Special thanks to Tina Yu Ting from the Guest Services Lounge who made our check-in experience so smooth—she was especially attentive to our elderly family members and our kids, even gifting them little welcome treats. Our riverside room offered stunning views, and the natural light flooded in during the day, making every moment feel special. There’s also a unique collaboration store with the Provincial Museum—my kids loved browsing through the themed souvenirs, which were reasonably priced and perfect as gifts. The pool temperature was ideal for children, and they had a blast playing around. Breakfast was fantastic too—diverse options that catered to all tastes, with a strong focus on healthy eating. Unfortunately, due to our packed itinerary, we didn’t get to try the hotel’s dining venues beyond a lovely afternoon tea and a satisfying evening buffet. Still, the overall experience was outstanding. If we ever return to Changsha, this will be our first choice again.

I was genuinely surprised by how great Park Hyatt Changsha turned out to be. The staff went above and beyond with their warm, friendly service—always smiling, greeting guests with genuine hospitality, and making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The breakfast spread was impressive, with a wide variety of options and good quality across the board. I was pleasantly upgraded to a higher room category and even received a late check-out until 2 PM—such a nice touch! The only minor downside was that the room felt a bit stuffy and warm, possibly due to the air conditioning being set too high. Also, no spa or wellness center on-site, which would’ve been a great addition. But overall, this is an exceptional stay with outstanding service and value. I’d definitely return and recommend it to others.

ST-Tropez Hotel

We came to Changsha for a concert and stayed at ST-Tropez Hotel — and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in China. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, offering thoughtful recommendations on nearby attractions and even giving us a nice welcome gift. The complimentary shuttle service was super convenient — just call, and they’d arrive right away. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with a peaceful atmosphere, and our room was spotless, fully equipped, and very comfortable. What really stood out was the personal touch from our dedicated housekeeper, Xiao Tang. She reached out before check-in to ask about our preferences, made sure everything was ready, and even brought fresh fruit upon arrival. She followed up throughout our stay to see how we were doing — so thoughtful and genuinely caring. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely recommend this place to friends and will be back again soon.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom featured excellent dry-wet separation—a real plus. I also appreciated the on-site gym and laundry facilities, which added extra convenience. Breakfast was a highlight—plenty of variety, and my kids were thrilled with the options. Overall, this hotel offers outstanding value, comfort, and location. Definitely going back next time!

The bedside clock looks exactly as it did a decade ago—no signs of wear at all. It’s genuinely surprising and touching to see such consistency. Despite ongoing renovations, service levels remain top-notch, and every staff member I interacted with was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Kudos to the team for keeping the standard so high. Unfortunately, I heard the hotel will be rebranding soon—making this stay feel even more special. If you’re looking for a luxurious, well-cared-for retreat in Changsha with thoughtful details and excellent hospitality, this is one of the best options around. Staying at Lead-Goal Premier Hotel in Changsha's Wuyi Square was an absolute delight. The hotel staff, especially Ella the concierge, went above and beyond—she patiently answered all our questions about transportation, local cuisine, and must-visit attractions, even sending us a detailed itinerary before check-in. Our room was upgraded free of charge by the front desk team, which made the stay even more special. On January 2nd, the housekeeping staff left a sweet handwritten note with a small gift—so thoughtful! Though I didn’t get a photo, it truly warmed my heart. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk to both Line 2 and Line 6 of the metro, making it super easy to explore downtown Changsha. Everything from service to convenience was top-notch. This place isn’t just a hotel—it’s a home away from home. Definitely coming back next time.

The hotel is brand new and the facilities are top-notch—everything you could want is available, from modern amenities to thoughtful touches throughout. The room was spotless and meticulously cleaned every day; the housekeeping staff were attentive and proactive. What really stood out was the location—right on the banks of the Xiang River. I could enjoy the stunning nighttime light show across both sides of the river from my window—absolutely breathtaking. The service was exceptional too, especially the front desk staff member, Xiao Cao. I accidentally left an item behind, and she reached out immediately to arrange shipping it back to me. That kind of care goes a long way. This place exceeded all expectations—great value, fantastic atmosphere, and unforgettable views. I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Changsha.

The package I booked during Double 11 included breakfast, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff, Lisha, was incredibly friendly, professional, and warm—the kind of service that truly reflects the InterContinental standard. Located right next to Changsha Museum and Beichen Hui Mall, the hotel offers easy access to culture, shopping, and scenic walks along the river. This was my first time staying at Changsha Huatian Hotel, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Located right in the heart of the city, it’s just an 8-minute walk to Yuanjialing Metro Station, where both Line 2 and Line 6 are accessible. Line 2 takes you straight to Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain, while Line 6 offers direct access to the airport—super convenient for travel. Right across from the hotel is the Hunan Provincial Theatre, and downstairs you’ll find Hua Tian Xiao Lu, a local favorite that delivers delicious food. Special thanks to Manager Xiao Yin for the thoughtful recommendations—I tried Tea Yan Yue Se and explored IFS Guojin Center, making the most of the area’s vibrant vibe. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the space clean and tidy. Staff were warm and proactive—they kindly pointed me to breakfast location and informed me about the complimentary swimming pool and fitness center. My friends who visited also praised the value and hospitality. Overall, this stay exceeded expectations, and I’m already planning to return.
