Hi Inn Hotel (Shanghai Shibo Tangqiao Subway Station)

This was my first stay at Hi Inn Hotel Shanghai Shibo Tangqiao Subway Station, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. We booked a non-windowed double room, but the front desk staff kindly upgraded us to a window-facing room at no extra cost—such a pleasant surprise! The room is compact but very clean and well-organized, with high-quality disposable bath towels, slippers, and even two bottles of Nongfu Spring water provided. The bathroom features a smart toilet, which added a nice touch of comfort. I’ve stayed at nearby HanTing and Home Inn before, but this time I chose Hi Inn for its great value—and honestly, the experience held its own. On our second day, we had an appointment that required checking out after 3 PM. After discussing with the front desk staff, they arranged a one-hour late check-out for just an additional 49 RMB, and even helped us claim a discount voucher. Super helpful and professional. The location is excellent—right next to Tangqiao Metro Station, close to Renji Hospital, and surrounded by plenty of local eateries. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this hotel offers convenience and comfort in one. I’ll definitely be returning here on future trips to Shanghai.

Hi Inn (Shanghai Children's Medical Center)

The room is compact but very clean, and the TV seemed extra large—perfect for watching a Scottish Premier League match, which was an unexpected highlight! As a Huazhu Gold member, I really appreciated the extended check-out time until 3 PM, which made my travel experience much more relaxed, especially with kids in tow. One thing puzzled me though: the price on the platform was actually cheaper than booking directly through the Huazhu app—definitely odd, but not enough to ruin the overall positive impression. The location is convenient, the staff were friendly, and the value for money is solid. I’d definitely stay here again.

Hi Inn Hotel (Shanghai Renji Hospital East Branch Pujian Road)

I stayed at Hi Inn Hotel for the first time, and I was genuinely impressed. The location is perfect—just across the street from Renji Hospital, tucked away in a quiet alley that feels surprisingly peaceful despite the busy traffic outside. The hotel is brand new, with clean, modern interiors and thoughtful design details throughout. Even though it’s small and rooms are compact, the attention to detail—from the unique hallway layout to the welcoming elevator area—makes a big difference. Staff were friendly and attentive, making the stay comfortable and stress-free. I stayed here for three nights while my mother was hospitalized, and I had no complaints whatsoever. It’s a hidden gem in a bustling city, offering great value and a serene atmosphere. I’d definitely come back.

I recently stayed at Haiyou Hotel (Shanghai Lujiazui Yuanshen Road Subway Station), and I have to say it was a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived—check-in was quick and smooth, no waiting around. What stood out most was the location: just a short walk from the subway station, making it super easy to get around Shanghai. Whether you're heading to Lujiazui for business or exploring nearby attractions, this hotel makes commuting a breeze. The room was clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly comfortable for the price. It's not huge, but every inch is used efficiently. If you're looking for a no-frills, convenient, and budget-friendly stay in central Shanghai, this place delivers exactly what you need. Hi Inn Hotel (Shanghai Lujiazui Shijidadao Subway Station)

Absolutely loved staying at this Hi Inn Hotel—truly a hidden gem in Shanghai! The location is unbeatable: just across the street from the subway station, making it super easy to explore Lujiazui and other key areas. Right next to a local neighborhood with authentic eateries, I had an amazing breakfast at a tiny family-run spot nearby—perfect for waking up the right way. What really stood out was the thoughtful service; they even handed me a warm bottle of mineral water when checking out. Small touches like this made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. As a member of Huazhu Club, I felt extra valued. Clean, comfortable, and surprisingly affordable—this place deserves every bit of its 10/10 rating. InterContinental Shanghai Pudong

This hotel has been everywhere on Little Red Book lately, and after staying here, I totally get why. Walking into the lobby felt like stepping into a vintage Shanghai film—deep burgundy sofas paired with Bauhaus-inspired furniture create such a unique, nostalgic atmosphere. The whole place radiates that 90s 'old money' elegance, beautifully done without feeling over-the-top. The suite was enormous, offering plenty of space and a luxurious feel. The executive lounge is top-notch too—great service, delicious snacks, and a quiet, classy vibe. Every detail feels intentional and well-executed. Honestly, this is one of those rare stays you just want to repeat. If I'm back in Shanghai, this will be my go-to choice. Definitely a must-visit.

Regent Shanghai Pudong

Staying at Regent Shanghai Pudong was an absolute delight from start to finish. The front desk staff, Rachel, was incredibly courteous and welcoming—she even accommodated our early arrival three hours ahead of check-in, allowing us to settle in by 3 PM with no hassle. To our surprise, we were upgraded from a standard Eastern Pearl view king room to a spacious suite, which was such a nice bonus. The room itself was immaculate: plush bedding, luxurious bathroom amenities, and everything felt clean, high-end, and thoughtfully designed. We also received a welcome fruit platter—such a sweet touch! Renaissance Shanghai Pudong Hotel

This trip to Shanghai was made even better by choosing Renaissance Shanghai Pudong Hotel—truly exceeded all expectations, and I’m giving it a full 10/10! A special shoutout to Lene at reception—her service was exceptional. She handled check-in quickly and efficiently, while also patiently answering our questions about local transport and nearby attractions. She even took the time to recommend hotel amenities and some top-rated restaurants nearby, always with a warm smile. That welcoming vibe made us feel instantly at home. The breakfast in the on-site Renaissance Café was an absolute highlight. With an impressive mix of Western and Asian options, we enjoyed everything from classic Benedict eggs and fresh croissants to local favorites like Jianbing, beef dumplings, and little wontons. There were even Indian-inspired dishes, plus a wide variety of fruits, desserts, and beverages—all freshly restocked and delicious. It truly catered to every taste. Our room was spacious, bright, and elegantly decorated, with excellent soundproofing and stunning views from the window. Crowne Plaza Shanghai Jinxiu

My stay at Crowne Plaza Shanghai Jinxiu was absolutely perfect from check-in to check-out—every single detail earned a full 10 out of 10. As a student studying in Shanghai, I was looking for a quiet, comfortable space to unwind, and this hotel delivered beyond expectations. The room was spacious, beautifully designed with elegant touches, and the bedding was incredibly soft—woke up feeling completely refreshed after a deep, restful sleep. Breakfast was an outstanding highlight: a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients that really set the tone for a great day. The facilities are top-tier—pool, well-equipped gym, and a relaxing spa center, all housed in a luxurious, festive atmosphere. The lobby sparkled with a towering Christmas tree, twinkling lights, and even a charming gingerbread house in the corner—so much holiday spirit! But what truly stood out was the service. Every staff member greeted me warmly, offered help with luggage, and even brought me a hot drink without being asked—such thoughtful gestures really made me feel valued.
