The indoor pool is massive and incredibly relaxing, especially when you can see the Namsan Tower in the distance. It really helped release all the tension I’d been carrying. The room itself is elegant without being overbearing—clean, well-maintained, and spotless. The sofa and bed were both comfortable, and the mattress was so plush, I felt like I was being hugged the second I lay down. The bedding was soft and cozy, leading to one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve had in a long time. The bathroom? Impeccable—crisp, clean, and luxurious. Breakfast came around 9:30 AM, so there was a short wait, but I actually preferred it this way—no noisy buffet crowds, no distractions, just a peaceful start to the day. I ordered natto with abalone, followed by sea urchin egg custard and fresh fruit—simple yet delicious, perfect for a light morning meal. I didn’t get to enjoy the famous pool this time (a bit disappointing), but I’m already planning my next visit. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat within the heart of Seoul, Banyan Tree is truly the answer.

The staff were friendly and efficient throughout our stay. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this place delivers excellent value and comfort. It’s definitely a go-to recommendation for anyone visiting Seoul—I’ll be back!

The room cleaning and amenities were top-notch—always fresh, well-stocked, and meticulously maintained. Every detail reflects genuine care and attention. This experience exceeded all expectations. If you're visiting Seoul, this is definitely my top recommendation. I’ll be back, and I’m already telling friends about it!

This is our second stay at this lovely hotel, and we’re even more impressed this time around. We were in room 1222 on the 12th floor—quiet, well-lit, and with a great view. The shower curtain was a bit worn on day one, but by the next morning it had already been replaced without us even having to ask—really impressive attention to detail. One small downside: there were no charging ports or outlets near the bed, which made plugging in devices a bit of a hassle. However, after we mentioned it during our last night, they promptly added a multi-outlet adapter near the bedside table. It wasn’t perfect—still not ideal for charging while lying in bed—but definitely a welcome upgrade. Overall, the staff’s responsiveness and hospitality made a big difference. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the subway, and everything from shopping to sightseeing is super accessible. A truly enjoyable experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

Staff were attentive, professional, and always ready to help. Being connected directly to Novotel and Mercure buildings is a huge plus—no need to worry about weather when moving between spaces. Plenty of parking available, which is rare in central Seoul. The elevator link to Yongsan Station is a game-changer: even without a car, guests can move around easily and comfortably. Perfect for business travelers or families who want hassle-free convenience and smart connectivity.

A small CU convenience store right on the 14th floor, stocked with snacks, drinks, toiletries, and essentials. This is incredibly convenient for international travelers who want to grab something without leaving the building. Overall, the experience was excellent—great location, clean rooms, superb service, and thoughtful amenities. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Seoul.

This was my sixth trip to Korea, and without a doubt, this is the most impressive hotel I've stayed at here. While it's a bit of a walk from the subway station, the bus stop is right outside the door—making access to the city incredibly convenient. The room was immaculate, with modern design and thoughtful touches that made it feel luxurious. The staff were warm and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. From the quiet ambiance to the excellent amenities, every detail felt intentional. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.

I especially loved the rooftop pool on the 22nd floor—open only in summer, but what a treat to enjoy it under the sun or during golden hour. The room was spacious, chic, and thoughtfully equipped, including a welcome drink and snacks—small touches that made the stay feel special. With its prime location, cool aesthetic, and excellent value, this hotel offers more than just a place to sleep. It’s an experience. Definitely coming back.

Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—just a 2-3 minute walk from Hongdae Station, right in the heart of the bustling Hongdae pedestrian street. Every evening we explored the area, sampling endless street food and local favorites. There’s so much to eat and discover, we barely scratched the surface. With great service, an unbeatable location, and a vibrant neighborhood, this stay exceeded all expectations. I’d definitely book here again—highly recommend!

One thing to note: bring your own toothbrush and 1–2 power adapters, but that’s a small detail considering how great the value is.
