New Osaka Hotel

I stayed at this hotel during a business trip to Osaka and was thoroughly impressed! The location is fantastic—just a short walk from Shin-Osaka Station, making it super convenient for commuting or exploring the city. There’s a convenience store nearby, so you’re never far from essentials. The room itself was spotlessly clean, with thoughtful amenities and a comfortable bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. I especially appreciated the quiet environment and good sound insulation. Everything about the stay felt well thought out and highly practical. I’d definitely consider booking here again on my next visit to Osaka—and I’d recommend it to fellow travelers looking for a reliable, no-fuss option.

Toyoko Inn Shin-Osaka Chuo-Guchi Shinkan

Stayed at Toyoko Inn Shin-Osaka Chuo-Guchi Shinkan and was really impressed overall. The room is compact, but surprisingly well-equipped and very functional. The bathroom was a standout—hot water was excellent, with strong pressure throughout the shower, making for a truly relaxing experience. Location is super convenient, just a short walk from the station, perfect for exploring Osaka. Clean, comfortable, and great value for money—definitely a place I’d stay again.

SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Shin-Osaka

Staying at the SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Shin-Osaka was a truly positive experience. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and offers a pleasant atmosphere. The room size is just right—my 26-inch suitcase fit comfortably with plenty of space to spare, and there’s a small desk that’s perfect for working or unpacking. Location-wise, it’s incredibly convenient for getting around Osaka; I could reach downtown areas quickly via subway, which made exploring easy and stress-free. The only minor downside was the duvet cover—it looked a bit worn, which caught my eye a little, but honestly, it didn’t affect sleep quality at all. Overall, this is a solid choice with great value for money. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Osaka.

Osaka Corona Hotel

Staying at Osaka Corona Hotel was an absolute delight! The location is unbeatable—just a 4-5 minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station, making travel in and out of the city super convenient. I entered through the door to the right of the front desk, which is even closer to the station. The hotel itself feels clean and well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was one of the highlights—so many options, from traditional Japanese dishes to Western-style favorites, all looking fresh and delicious. Everything was neatly presented and clearly made with care. Plus, they provide a bottle of mineral water every day—such a thoughtful touch! It’s rare to find such a great balance of comfort, convenience, and value. Definitely a top choice for anyone visiting Osaka.

Toyoko Inn Shin-Osaka-Eki Higashi-Guchi

I’ve stayed at this Toyoko Inn multiple times now, and it never fails to impress. Located just a 5- to 10-minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station—about 600 meters—this place is perfect for travelers who want quick access to trains, especially the Shinkansen for day trips across Japan. Despite being close to the station, the hotel is remarkably quiet, which is a huge plus for light sleepers like me. No train noise at all during the night! There’s a 24-hour convenience store right nearby, plenty of dining options, and within a 2-kilometer radius, there’s even a local supermarket that stays open until midnight—super convenient for last-minute snacks or essentials. The room itself was spotless, with fresh linens and towels, and the kettle had no visible scale buildup. In the lobby, guests can grab complimentary toiletries, matcha tea packets, plum tea powder, and more. There are also laundry machines, a microwave, vending machines, and even a small fridge in the room with a freezer compartment. The room comes with a universal power strip featuring multiple plug types—so easy to charge everything without hassle. Even if you’re assigned a smoking room, simply request 'smoke-free treatment' during booking, and they make sure it’s thoroughly cleaned—no lingering smell at all. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, greeting guests warmly and offering helpful advice on everything from transit to nearby attractions. Breakfast is generous and satisfying: rice, onigiri, vegetables, meat, fish, eggs, three different soups, coffee, fruit drinks, and hot water—all available. It’s a real highlight. Overall, this is one of the most reliable, well-equipped, and thoughtfully run hotels I’ve stayed at in Osaka. A true hidden gem!

Courtyard by Marriott Shin-Osaka Station

Arriving at Shin-Osaka Station, I was pleasantly surprised to find Courtyard by Marriott just a short walk away—less than a minute from the exit. The hotel’s understated modern design blends seamlessly into the cityscape, and stepping inside felt like a breath of fresh air. The lobby is spacious with high ceilings and soft lighting, creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Check-in was quick and friendly—the staff made me feel well taken care of right from the start. My room was cozy yet stylish, with a comfortable bed that made it hard to leave. Being on a lower floor, I loved the view of the street below—watching the flow of daily life outside was oddly soothing. The fitness center was small but well-equipped, perfect for keeping up with my routine during travel. And location? Unbeatable. With direct access to the Shinkansen, getting to Kyoto, Kobe, or downtown Osaka is just minutes away. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this hotel strikes the perfect balance between convenience and comfort. It’s not just a place to sleep—it’s a home base for your journey. Astil Hotel Shin-Osaka Precious

I stayed at Astil Hotel Shin-Osaka Precious for three consecutive nights and couldn’t be happier. The location is perfect—just a quick walk from the station, crossing one traffic light and you’re right at the door. With a busy schedule of early mornings and late returns, I didn’t have time to explore much beyond the hotel, but honestly, I didn’t need to. The rooftop onsen was my favorite part—clean, relaxing, and beautifully designed. I made it a ritual to soak both in the morning and evening, and every visit felt like a little escape. The water quality was excellent, and the amenities were thoughtful: high-quality shampoo, plenty of towels, and spotless cleanliness throughout. The bathroom was immaculate, with smart dry-wet separation and all the essentials—including charging cables. Room size was generous for solo travelers, feeling spacious and well-appointed. I also loved the capsule coffee machine—fresh, rich, and ready in seconds. Overall, this place delivers an unbeatable mix of comfort, convenience, and tranquility. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Osaka who values quiet luxury and attention to detail.

Holiday Inn & Suites Shin Osaka

Staying at Holiday Inn & Suites Shin Osaka was a fantastic experience. The complimentary shuttle bus to Shin-Osaka Station made getting around incredibly convenient—just hop on and off without any hassle. The driver was friendly and attentive throughout the ride, adding to the overall comfort. The hotel itself is spotless and well-maintained, with a clean, modern vibe from the moment you step in. I especially loved the bathroom features—the built-in seating made it feel like soaking in a traditional onsen, relaxing and luxurious. Room layout is spacious, and everything feels thoughtfully designed. Great value for money and highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

Osaka Garden Palace

The overall experience was excellent—great location, friendly staff, and a comfortable stay. The only downside is the lack of an indoor smoking area. I stayed on the 14th floor and had to go outside the hotel just to smoke, which was quite inconvenient. It would be a nice improvement if they could add a designated smoking area inside the property. Otherwise, it’s a very solid choice for travelers visiting Osaka.

Hotel Consort Shin-Osaka

Staying at Hotel Consort Shin-Osaka was an absolute delight. The hotel is just a short walk from the subway station, making it super convenient for getting around Osaka. Right next door is a fantastic ramen shop called Ramen—authentic, delicious, and worth a visit even if you're not staying at the hotel. There are plenty of convenience stores, supermarkets, and drugstores nearby, so everything you need is within easy reach. The room itself offered great value for money—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped at a very reasonable price. Plus, being just minutes away from Umeda’s bustling shopping district makes it perfect for those who love to explore. Whether you’re here for business or leisure, this hotel delivers on comfort, location, and affordability. I’d definitely recommend it and plan to come back.

Sarasa Hotel Shin-Osaka

Staying at Sarasa Hotel Shin-Osaka was a delightful surprise! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and always greeted us with warm smiles—such a nice touch that instantly put me at ease. The room itself is compact but well-designed, perfect for solo travelers who value comfort over space. What really stands out is the location: just a 3-4 minute walk from Shin-Osaka Station, making transfers to Umeda or other parts of Osaka effortless. If you're arriving late, don’t worry—the area isn’t packed with shopping options, but there’s a 7-Eleven and a cozy Japanese bento spot called "Sakana" open until 11 PM, so you can still enjoy a hot meal after a long journey. Pro tip: When exiting the station, make sure to take Exit 10 (Front Gate) and head straight to the first floor—there’s a moving walkway that makes carrying luggage much easier. You’ll pass through an underground passage where trains run overhead, so keep an eye out for signs. Following this route will save you time and avoid confusion. Overall, it’s a smart, convenient choice for travelers looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great access—all at a solid value.
