The room layout and decor at Grand Millennium Auckland truly stand out—thoughtful design with plenty of mirrors, perfect for getting ready in the morning. The bathroom tiles are non-slip, which made me feel safe walking around barefoot. I especially appreciated having a fridge—since I love drinking fresh New Zealand milk, I could easily store any leftover without worrying about it spoiling. One small issue: the curtains don’t close tightly, so sunlight streams in as early as 6 AM. That’s around 1 AM Beijing time, when most night owls are just settling into sleep—being woken up by bright light is definitely disruptive. It would be great if the hotel could improve the blackout quality of the curtains. Overall, this place earns a solid 9 out of 10. Great value, excellent comfort, and a really welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommend for travelers who appreciate attention to detail.
