MisooHi's Secret Realm Seaview.

Staying at this place was a great experience overall. The room was clean, well-maintained, and had all the essentials we needed. The balcony offered stunning sea views—perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset. It’s also very convenient for getting around; we took the metro to explore nearby spots without any hassle. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, so dining options were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We were hoping to use the Zhuyanji photography pass, but unfortunately it was fully booked when we tried to reserve it (you need to book at least one day in advance). Still, despite that small disappointment, the quality of the stay made up for it. Highly recommend this hidden gem if you're looking for a peaceful yet well-connected getaway.

The moment we arrived, the staff and owner were incredibly warm and attentive—so welcoming and genuinely caring. One of the highlights was discovering the little pet area just next to the first floor; guests can freely visit and play with the adorable animals, which made our kids absolutely thrilled. It’s such a unique and memorable touch that adds incredible value. The first floor also has sand digging tools and crab-catching kits available for free use—perfect for spontaneous beach adventures. Plus, they offer baby high chairs, which made traveling with our toddler so much easier. Everything was thoughtfully provided, from the cozy atmosphere to the thoughtful amenities. We left feeling completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. Truly a standout stay!

While the parking is a bit far from the building and there's no elevator, it didn’t really bother us, especially since we were happy to walk a short distance. Located just steps away from Huangcuo Beach on the scenic coastline, it’s ideal for beach lovers. Public transport access is convenient too—easy to get around the city. Noise from neighboring rooms or footsteps from downstairs carried through the walls quite easily, which slightly disrupted my sleep. I’d recommend upgrading the insulation in future renovations. Stayed here for one night and couldn’t be happier! The room was spotless, cozy, and super comfortable—perfect for a relaxing break. The host was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to share local tips on hidden gems and great nearby eats. He even gave us advice on how to get around using the metro, which made exploring so easy. And then there’s the dog S—he’s a total character! Only shakes hands if you’ve got a sausage in hand, otherwise he just pretends not to see you 😂. Such a fun little detail that added charm to the whole experience. This place is a real gem with excellent value. Definitely coming back!

Xiamen Bliss Bairisi Homestay (Huandao Road Zengcuo'an)

I rarely leave reviews, but I just had to share this experience — the host genuinely touched me. From booking to checkout, every step felt personal and thoughtful, like staying with family. Late at night, I woke up with a high fever and only wanted to ask for some fever medicine. Instead, the host came to my room with a thermometer, checked my temperature, and when he saw it was 40°C, he immediately took me to Xiamen First Hospital. He stayed with me for over two hours, making sure everything was okay. The next morning, he even prepared warm congee for me. When we were leaving, he carried our luggage to the road and waited until we were safely in the car. This level of care is something I’ve never experienced before. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for genuine hospitality.

The staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality—they were attentive, friendly, and even gave me great recommendations for local hidden gem eateries that I couldn’t stop raving about. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully curated. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic, and well-priced retreat in Xiamen, this is the place. Highly recommended!
