We booked this hotel on short notice for the New Year holiday, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The location is unbeatable—right next to Qianmen Street, with countless authentic Beijing eateries just a quick turn down the road. Whether you're heading to Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, or nearby attractions, everything is within easy reach. Public transit is also super convenient. The service exceeded our expectations—friendly staff at check-in made us feel welcome, and they even posted daily flag ceremony times in the lobby, which was such a thoughtful touch. Our family room came with a baby crib, and all the amenities were thoughtfully provided. Hot water came on instantly, and the room felt clean, spacious, and well-appointed. We didn’t expect much going in, but ended up having a truly comfortable stay. If we come back to Beijing, this will definitely be our first choice again.

The holiday atmosphere at Lake View Hotel in Beijing was absolutely incredible—right from the moment we stepped in, the decorations were festive and beautifully done. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Manager Du went above and beyond by personally arranging rooms for our family on the same floor and next to each other, which made everything so much easier with kids in tow. Even before we asked, he had already prepared child-sized toiletries and slippers—such a thoughtful touch! It’s clear that attention to detail is taken seriously here. We were genuinely surprised and delighted by how well-cared-for we felt throughout our stay. This wasn’t just a hotel—it felt like a home away from home. I’m already planning my next visit. If you’re looking for a memorable, comfortable, and genuinely friendly experience in Beijing, this is the place to stay.

Staying at New World Beijing Hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is unbeatable—just a 10-minute walk from the metro and within easy reach of major attractions like Wangfujing and Temple of Heaven. The staff truly stood out, especially the gentleman who worked the late shift on December 20th. He was incredibly warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to assist with any questions I had. What made it even more special was that when my child celebrated their 9th birthday during our stay, he personally arranged a small birthday cake in advance. My child couldn’t stop smiling—it turned into a memorable, heartfelt experience. The breakfast spread was generous and diverse, offering both local and international flavors. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. If I ever return to Beijing, this will be my top choice without hesitation.

JW Marriott Hotel Beijing Central

Staying at JW Marriott Hotel Beijing Central was a wonderful experience, especially for families. The hotel is just a short walk from the subway, making it super convenient to explore the city. Right next door is a shopping mall packed with great dining options—perfect for a family meal. The beds were spacious and comfortable, ideal for kids and adults alike. When I accidentally booked a king room, the front desk staff Nicole quickly and efficiently changed it to a twin bed setup—so helpful! Check-in was smooth, and the lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas, creating a festive atmosphere that my kids loved. They took lots of fun photos around the decor. From start to finish, everything was seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel—it’s a fantastic choice for both business and leisure travelers.
