Staying at Blooming Lotus Hostel was an absolute delight—far beyond my expectations. From the moment I checked in to the smooth check-out process, everything was seamless and welcoming. The room matched the photos exactly, and honestly, it looked even better in person. Little details everywhere showed real thoughtfulness—especially the owner's beautiful calligraphy, which added a unique charm. The complimentary oranges were fresh and delicious, a sweet surprise. The only minor downside was slightly thin walls, but it didn’t disrupt my sleep at all. I’ve already recommended this place to friends and will definitely be back. A hidden gem with heart and style.

Staying here was a real highlight of my trip! The hotel is perfectly located between Manjuelong and Yangmeiling—ideal for exploring both areas on foot. Hangzhou Zhuge Homestay (Xihu Scenic Area)

Staying at Hangzhou Zhuge Homestay (Xihu Scenic Area) was an absolute delight. Wandering around the nearby paths feels like a peaceful escape without leaving the area. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive; any small issue was resolved instantly. The host even reached out in advance to confirm check-in details—such thoughtful service! Cleanliness is top-notch—the room felt spotless, and the queen-sized bed comfortably fit our family of three with plenty of space. It’s rare to find such a perfect blend of tranquility, comfort, and hospitality. I’ll definitely be back for another stay.

Ru Ye Inn

We brought the kids to explore West Lake and were looking for a comfortable, stress-free place to stay—and we absolutely hit the jackpot! This hidden gem of a mountain retreat nestled right in the heart of the scenic area is everything we hoped for. Located on Hupao Road near Siyanjing, it’s surrounded by lush forest and overlooks a serene tea field. The location is perfect—quiet and peaceful yet just steps away from attractions like Hupao Park and Hangzhou Zoo. A short drive gets you to Leifeng Pagoda and Su Causeway, making it easy to enjoy both nature and city life. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed with no sharp corners—plus, underfloor heating and central AC keep things cozy year-round. Our little one was fascinated by the smart toilet (and totally safe too!). There’s a private courtyard where the kids could run around freely, and nearby children’s playgrounds kept them entertained for hours. For those driving, the huge free parking lot is a real game-changer—especially in such a popular area. Just outside the door, there’s a bus stop that connects you to all major sights. If you’re visiting during peak season, follow the owner’s simple transfer tips—they really help avoid traffic jams. Waking up surrounded by greenery and enjoying a beautifully presented breakfast sets the tone for a perfect day. The on-site restaurant serves authentic Hangzhou-style cuisine that truly hits the spot. In the evening, sipping tea at the open-air dining area while watching the stars and listening to the gentle rustle of trees—it’s pure relaxation. After a long day, this place truly restores your spirit.

Lin Yin Xi Lu (Hangzhou West Lake Wushan Square)

We stayed at Lin Yin Xi Lu with my parents and young child during our trip to Hangzhou, and everyone was thoroughly impressed. The location is fantastic—just a 15-minute walk to West Lake, with plenty of dining options nearby. Our room on the second floor had a spacious tatami area with huge windows overlooking a beautiful osmanthus tree, and you can even catch a glimpse of the distant Leifeng Pagoda—such a peaceful view. The room itself was generously sized, perfect for traveling with kids. What stood out was the in-house breakfast and coffee shop—clean, welcoming, and serving delicious local flavors. Everything about the stay felt thoughtfully designed: quiet, cozy, and full of charm. It’s rare to find a place that ticks all the boxes for comfort, convenience, and atmosphere. We’ll definitely come back.

Fengdiao Yushun Hostel

Staying at this hidden gem in the heart of Lingyin Temple Scenic Area was an absolute delight. Located just a 3-minute walk from Beifeng Cable Car, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring the mountain trails and nearby attractions. The moment you step into the courtyard, you’re greeted by serene traditional Chinese architecture, lush greenery, and a peaceful koi pond—every detail reflects the host’s genuine care and attention to atmosphere. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and warmly heated during winter, making it cozy even in the chilly mountain air. What truly stood out was the hospitality—the staff felt like friends, always friendly, attentive, and happy to help with any questions or recommendations. It’s clear they prioritize guest comfort and experience. This is more than just a place to stay; it’s a memorable retreat. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hangzhou.
