The hotel is super convenient — just steps from Metro Lines 2 and 3, or you can walk straight through the underground passage beside the hotel to reach the mall. That said, everything runs smoothly overall. Before check-in, the manager reached out via WeChat to send over key info and offer instant support — super helpful for any issues like unfamiliar devices. Room amenities were excellent: plenty of outlets, fast Wi-Fi, reliable Daikin HVAC system, washer with detergent included, plus a coffee maker and tea bags (the tea was surprisingly good!). Daily mineral water refills made life easy. The projector TV worked well — just use the remote to adjust focus if needed. One small downside: TV channels weren’t as varied as expected. It seems regional content is limited, and the streaming box requires an account to access. That part needs a quick chat with the manager to sort out. But honestly, these are minor gripes. For the location, comfort, and service, this place delivers top-tier value. I’d definitely book here again on my next visit to Chengdu.

Staying at Borrman Hotel was an absolute delight. Located just a short walk from Tianfu Square Metro Station, getting around Chengdu is incredibly convenient—direct subway access to Chunxi Road, Du Fu Thatched Cottage, and People's Park makes exploring the city effortless. The hotel sits on the 11th floor of Moore Department Store, offering great visibility and easy access. Whether you're heading to the Panda Base, Dujiangyan, or Qingcheng Mountain, everything is well-connected via public transit. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. For the location, service, and value, this place earns every bit of its perfect score.

Chengdu Jincheng Yuanshe Hotel (Jinli Wuhou Temple Branch)

Staying at Chengdu Jincheng Yuanshe Hotel (Jinli Wuhou Temple Branch) was an absolute delight. The location is incredibly convenient—just steps from the hotel entrance, taxis were available within seconds. I came for a concert by Wang Xuxin and even reached the hotel directly via subway from the airport, with the station just a short walk away. The hotel itself feels upscale yet affordable, offering great value without compromising on quality. The room temperature was perfectly comfortable, and the staff, especially the kind-hearted lady at reception, made me feel right at home. I was also thrilled to find a little shop on the first floor selling adorable panda plushies—I couldn’t resist buying two! Payment via credit card felt secure and hassle-free. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Chengdu.
