My parents were thrilled, saying it’s one of the best value experiences they’ve had. The room itself is spacious at 70 square meters with a view of the pool, and stepping out onto the balcony gives you a stunning vista. It’s peaceful, elegant, and so relaxing. This place totally exceeded my expectations. The owner’s from Guangdong—big respect! If you’re looking for comfort, great food, and unbeatable value, Star River Shanghai is a must-try.

If you're heading to Shanghai Stadium or Sports Arena for a concert, it's only one stop on the metro—or even easier, a short walk or bike ride away. This A.T.HOUSE property has that modern art vibe I love. The second-floor afternoon tea lounge and late-night dining spot are both stylish and inviting. The pastries are delicious, and the chicken soup wontons as well as the pork-filled dumplings are seriously satisfying. I was originally booked into a room type that wasn’t available yet, but the team kindly upgraded me to a Premium Suite—huge upgrade in space, view, and design. Everything felt thoughtfully curated. I ordered fresh fruit platters after my concert, and they arrived at my door in no time. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the service throughout was top-notch. Even at check-out, they handed me a lovely souvenir—a large record-shaped biscuit box that’s both cute and tasty. If there’s another concert in town, this will be my go-to hotel again.

Even with a large suitcase, there was plenty of room to move around—perfect for travelers who value comfort and convenience. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully curated, including the bath amenities that carried a subtle, high-end fragrance I couldn’t help but notice. But what truly made the experience memorable was the staff. From check-in to checkout, everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. Special thanks to Shasha, who went above and beyond by offering personalized travel tips and local recommendations. Her knowledge of hidden gems and must-try restaurants made my trip unforgettable. I’m already planning my next visit to Shanghai just so I can see her again. Truly a hotel that delivers on every level.

If you're attending a concert at Mercedes-Benz Arena, this hotel is an absolute must-choose. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the venue, so you can head straight to your room after the show without any hassle. The room was spacious with all the essentials, and I especially loved the capsule coffee machine. The mini-fridge had basic snacks and drinks, which was convenient. Breakfast was fantastic—varied options and great quality. There’s ample parking, and nearby there are plenty of kid-friendly spots, making it perfect for families. With such a great value and excellent convenience, this place truly delivers. I’ll definitely be back!
