While the evening light show wasn’t my favorite, seeing it from the comfort of my room made it just as magical. The staff went above and beyond—prompt, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. During the off-season, they upgraded us to a spacious corner room without hesitation and even left a small gift. The fitness center is well-equipped, the pool is clean and inviting, but the real surprise was the sauna and hot tub area—beautifully designed, quiet, and perfect for unwinding. A quick 15-minute cab ride gets you to Jinsha Beach, making it easy to explore more of the city. But cleanliness was spotless—no issues there. The location is truly special: perched on a hill overlooking the sea, it’s one of Dalian’s iconic landmarks. Nighttime photos are absolutely stunning, and walking down to the city takes about 10–15 minutes—quiet and peaceful, though not directly next to a subway station. Taxis are easy to catch. The rooftop garden on the fifth floor is a hidden gem, perfect for relaxing or just enjoying the view. The lobby itself is grand and beautifully designed—every corner is photogenic. Service was exceptional: staff greeted us warmly, opened doors, helped with luggage, and the dedicated concierge team went above and beyond to accommodate requests.
