Housekeeping staff were attentive and kept the room spotless every day—cleanliness really stood out. Overall, the comfort, service, and location made this stay unforgettable. Staying at Suning Universal Hotel All Suites was an absolute delight! The two-bedroom layout is perfect for families or groups of friends—spacious living area makes it feel like home, and the roomy design gives everyone plenty of space to relax. Located right across from Wutai Mountain Metro Station, getting around Nanjing is incredibly convenient. I didn’t need to take a taxi or worry about parking—just walk straight into the subway and explore the city with ease. Special shoutout to front desk staff Xiao Shen—so friendly, helpful, and attentive. She even upgraded our room without hesitation, which made the experience even better. A small suggestion: the TV screen could be slightly larger to match the spacious living area. Also, replacing the bathroom and shower door with frosted glass would improve privacy, especially when someone’s using the sink. And if possible, converting the kitchenette into a compact powder room would make things much more practical for four guests sharing the space—especially useful when traveling with kids. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value, comfort, and location. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting Nanjing.

The shower area is brand new and well-maintained, which added to the overall pleasant experience. I also appreciated that we shared the laundry facilities with the neighboring Quanji hotel—very practical. The fitness center is huge and feels more like a commercial gym than a typical hotel one, but best of all, it’s completely free for guests. And the breakfast? Outstanding—huge variety, fresh, and delicious. Everything about this stay was top-notch, yet the price remains remarkably affordable. This place offers incredible value for money. The metro station is literally right outside, connecting directly to the high-speed rail station in minutes. The hotel itself has a sleek, professional vibe with quiet, private rooms that make it easy to focus. Cleanliness is outstanding—everything from the bedding to the bathroom felt spotless. The spacious desk is great for working, and the high-speed Wi-Fi never lagged. I appreciated the multiple charging ports and power adapters available—no more scrambling for outlets. Front desk staff were super helpful: quick printing and package shipping services saved me time. Breakfast was efficient and satisfying—plenty of options, served fast. Our autumn getaway coincided perfectly with the Nanjing Marathon, but honestly, it didn’t affect our stay at all. Even though room rates were a bit higher than usual, the experience was absolutely worth it. The fall scenery around the hotel was breathtaking—golden leaves everywhere, like stepping into a painting. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with great local flavors we couldn’t resist. We were especially impressed by the robot delivery for takeout—so futuristic and convenient! But the real highlight? The location. Everything is just a 2-3 stop subway ride away—Nanjing Museum, Confucius Temple, Xuanwu Lake—you can even bike there if you’re feeling active. Super well-connected, quiet neighborhood, and everything you need within reach. A fantastic base for exploring the city. Definitely planning to come back.

Shangri-La Nanjing

Every time I visit Nanjing, I make sure to stay at Shangri-La—it’s simply my go-to. This trip was for a friend’s birthday, and we took the chance to explore the stunning maple leaves at Qixia Mountain, golden ginkgo trees by Xuanwu Lake, Yanyue Lake, Stone Elephant Road, and the famous plane tree avenue. Perfect timing, perfect weather, and perfect vibes! The room arranged by Manager Dong was exceptional—comfortable, elegant, and thoughtfully prepared. Dining at Jiangnan Zao was a highlight: the ingredients were fresh and top-notch. The pickled turnip with preserved vegetables was surprisingly delicious, the fish head incredibly fresh, and the sweet-and-sour ribs? Absolutely unforgettable. My friend devoured the stir-fried beef in no time—proof it was a hit! Bonus: guests staying at the hotel can enjoy complimentary room service from Jiangnan Zao—even if you’re not on the waitlist. Plus, the Christmas decorations were beautifully done, adding a magical touch to the entire stay. Honestly, I’m already planning my next visit—Shangri-La truly wins my heart every time.
