The host at Aisi Homestay went above and beyond with their hospitality. I arrived late on my first night, and they called to check in and even waited until I got there—so thoughtful! On my last morning, I left early, and although they’d already explained the gate schedule, they still woke up before 5 a.m. to open the door for me. That kind of care really stands out. The location is fantastic—just a short ride on bus 32 from Guilin North Station, and bus 16 takes you straight to Shijia Garden and East-West Lane. Right near the intersection of Putuo Road and Huixian Road, there’s a little local gem called Qingfeng Old Shop for rice noodles—locals love it, the flavor is seriously on par with trendy spots, and the dining space is clean and cozy. But honestly, the bed was the real highlight: huge, comfy, and the bedding smelled just like sunshine after being aired out. It gave the whole place that warm, homely vibe. If you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and genuine kindness, this place delivers every single time.

Local street food was not only affordable but genuinely delicious—a real highlight. The front desk offers free loquat tea daily, a small but thoughtful touch that made the stay more comfortable. We also rented an electric scooter for just ¥30 for 6 hours, which worked out perfectly for visiting half-day spots around the city. Designated parking zones for e-bikes made it easy to find and return them. While not as flexible as driving your own car, this rental option is incredibly convenient and budget-friendly. One downside? I forgot to take photos of the room—but honestly, the overall experience was excellent and highly recommended.
