I was originally going to call you 'sister,' but after thinking about the age gap, I decided to just go with 'Auntie' instead. Honestly, I absolutely adore Auntie—the owner! She's genuinely kind, warm, and full of wisdom. As someone from the south, I truly felt the genuine warmth and hospitality of Northeast China during my stay. Spending time chatting with her was such a highlight—it flew by in no time. She shared real-life advice that was incredibly helpful for a young traveler still figuring things out, plus some hilarious stories that made me laugh out loud. The hostel itself is simple but clean and cozy, and Auntie’s no-nonsense, straightforward personality only added to the charm. I remember arriving late at night, startled by someone sitting on the bench—then even more surprised when I saw Auntie herself! But those first few moments quickly turned into a comforting sense of home. What stood out most? The whole wall covered in stickers—such a fun, personal touch. I wanted to add one too, but didn’t find the right one—definitely coming back to do it next time! I know I’m a bit lazy with writing reviews, so sorry it took me a while. But if I'm traveling solo to Harbin again, I’ll definitely choose your place. If I’m going with friends, I might not stay there—but I’ll definitely stop by to catch up and chat. Harbin Longjiang Holiday Hotel (Central Avenue)
I'm from out of town, and one of the main reasons I keep coming back is the convenient parking. The stay was incredibly comfortable—clean rooms with excellent ventilation, spacious layouts both upstairs and downstairs. Location-wise, it's super easy to get around, and the price is very reasonable for the quality. I come to Northeast China every summer to escape the heat, and the cool weather here is perfect. This is already my fourth consecutive year staying at this hotel, and I can't recommend it enough. The owner is so warm and welcoming—feels like family from the moment you walk in. It’s not just a place to sleep; it’s a home away from home. Can’t wait to return next year. Harbin, see you soon! Absolutely fantastic! 👍👍👍
Harbin Sun Island Hotel
We originally booked Friendship Palace for our trip to Harbin during the May Day holiday, but due to the strong smell from recent renovations, we had to switch last minute—luckily, only one room was left at Sun Island Hotel. What a lucky coincidence! The hotel is actually located within a large, serene park, offering a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The rooms are quiet, with clean air and excellent sound insulation—perfect for a good night’s sleep. Best of all, it's just a short walk to Sun Island Scenic Area and Polar Park, so we didn’t need to rely on transportation. Everything was convenient, well-maintained, and beautifully situated. Our stay exceeded expectations—this place truly delivers comfort, location, and value. I’d definitely come back.
Love Loft Viewing Homestay (Harbin Central Street Pedestrian Street Branch)
This homestay is an absolute gem for larger groups! We booked two rooms for our team outing, and the space was more than enough—clean, spacious, and perfect for group gatherings. The host went above and beyond by providing extra blankets and even waited for us to arrive late to hand over the access cards. Located right next to a big restaurant and just steps away from a lively barbecue street, dining options are endless and super convenient. With great location, excellent value, and a welcoming vibe, this is hands-down the best choice for any group stay in Harbin. Highly recommended!

I washed some damp clothes in the washer at night, and they were completely dry by morning—such a convenient feature (though laundry detergent is not provided). Other essentials like a kettle, TV, free Wi-Fi, and a reliable water heater were all available. What truly stood out was the host’s incredible hospitality—he was responsive 24/7, even replying promptly to messages sent late at night. He went above and beyond by upgrading me to a 1.8m queen bed without hesitation. This level of care and attention makes the experience feel personal and welcoming. If you're visiting Harbin, this is definitely a top choice. Highly recommend!

It’s the first time I’ve stayed at the same hotel for three consecutive nights, and honestly, I didn’t want to leave. The YuFeng·LanYue Boutique Hotel is perfectly located near Central Avenue, just a short walk or quick subway ride away from all the main attractions. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a bathtub — even better, they provided disposable bath bags with bath salts and body wash, which made the experience feel extra luxurious and hygienic. Everything was thoughtfully included: single-use towels, toilet seat covers, and plenty of other amenities. The robot-delivered room service was a real highlight — not only convenient but also very safe and efficient. No need to worry about contact during check-in or meal delivery. The overall vibe, cleanliness, and attention to detail make this hotel stand out. I’d definitely come back again — Harbin has so much to offer, and I know exactly where I’ll be staying next time.

This trip, I stayed at several hotels in Harbin including Shangri-La, Crown Plaza, 1903 Central Street, and Westin—but The Ritz-Carlton truly stood out as the best. First off, breakfast in the executive lounge was a game-changer: quiet, private, and hassle-free. Unlike other hotels where you’re forced to join crowded dining areas or even queue for breakfast, here everything felt calm and seamless. Even at the same price point, most properties don’t proactively explain room amenities or benefits—some guests end up missing perks because staff forget to apply them. At The Ritz-Carlton, they take care of it all upfront, which made my stay so much smoother. And then there’s David, my personal concierge—extremely professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. He recommended Sakura Terrace, a Japanese restaurant that perfectly matched my partner’s taste. The owner actually mentioned he was grateful for the recommendation from the hotel, which speaks volumes about their local partnerships. I booked through the platform because the Marriott app didn’t suit my style, but regardless of booking channel, The Ritz-Carlton remains the gold standard in luxury hospitality.
