The location is perfect—just a short walk from Mudanyuan Subway Station Exit F, making it super convenient whether arriving from the airport or exploring the city. Being in the heart of Beijing, there are plenty of great local eateries nearby, including a famous spot for authentic Beijing yogurt that we kept going back to. The room was immaculate, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding that made for restful sleep. One highlight was the large projection screen where we could stream Tencent Video—complete with VIP membership, so tons of content to enjoy without extra cost. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any request promptly and with genuine warmth. It’s clear the team truly cares about guest experience. The staff—Liu Linlin, Xiao Xi, and Xiao Zheng—were incredibly warm and attentive. They helped with luggage, offered free yogurt and fresh fruit, and always had a smile. The highlight? The lounge’s afternoon tea and dinner. The food is exceptional—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and far beyond what you’d expect at many five-star properties. On New Year’s Day, I was delighted to see service staff Feng Xiangchao again. He remembered my preference for warm dishes and kindly heated up the seafood before serving—such thoughtful attention to detail. The next day, another team member, He Xu, took time to recommend the best desserts and gently reminded parents to watch the kids—small things that show how genuinely care about guests’ comfort. During dinner, I met a couple with their child, who shared they also make it a habit to visit a luxury hotel every weekend. After trying several places, they keep coming back to Kempinski—not just for the food or rooms, but because of the warmth, the genuine hospitality, and that sense of home.
