Staying at University Hotel was a delightful surprise. The room came fully equipped with kitchenware, making meal prep super convenient—perfect for travelers who want to cook their own food and save money on dining out. The only downside? It’s quite hard to book, as availability is limited and rooms tend to fill up fast. But once you secure a reservation, the experience is absolutely worth it. Located right near the university district, it’s just a short metro ride into the city center. With great value, comfort, and location, this hotel stands out as one of the best hidden gems in Prague.
Staying at Botel Marina was an unforgettable experience. Located right on the Vltava River, it feels like you're in a private riverside retreat while still being just minutes from the heart of the Old Town. The rooms are stylish, spacious enough, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff went above and beyond with their warm and attentive service. Breakfast was exceptional—fresh, abundant, and delicious. We reached the historic center by bike in only 10 minutes, making exploration effortless. This place truly delivers on comfort, location, and charm. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Prague.
On the night of December 31st, around 11:30 PM, I was attacked by a staff member at Hostel Homér in Prague—a man in his 40s or 50s with long hair, who appeared to be a supervisor—while the front desk receptionist, a young Indian woman in her mid-20s, stood by silently. The incident started because of my own mistake, and I tried to resolve it calmly. However, this man was clearly heavily intoxicated, became aggressive, grabbed me, and physically assaulted me—with help from another person present. I asked the receptionist repeatedly to call the police, but she did nothing. I attempted to go to the police myself, but on New Year’s Eve, law enforcement was already overwhelmed. Prague is absolutely beautiful and the locals are generally kind and welcoming—but this experience stands out as the worst I’ve had during all my travels. I don’t judge an entire Christmas tree just because one light is broken, but I’m sharing this story so others can stay alert and avoid similar situations.
While not located in the heart of Prague, this hotel is just steps away from a metro station and has a convenient Ldil supermarket right across the street—perfect for grab-and-go essentials. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and every room received a complimentary bottle of white wine upon arrival. The bar area offered free drinks throughout the stay, and we even got a cute fridge magnet as a farewell gift—small touches that made a big difference. Breakfast was outstanding, and during both breakfast and dinner hours, live piano music filled the lobby with a charming atmosphere. The only minor downside is its proximity to a large cemetery, which gives the area a quiet, peaceful vibe—but not necessarily a negative. Overall, this stay exceeded all expectations. It’s a hidden gem with exceptional service, thoughtful details, and a unique character that makes it stand out. I’d definitely book here again on my next visit to Prague.
Staying at Iris Hotel Eden in Prague was an absolute delight. Located just steps away from Slavia Stadium, the hotel offers unbeatable convenience for sports fans—cross the skybridge and you're right next to the arena. The shopping center across the street is perfect for a quick browse, and the tram stop is just a short walk away, making city exploration effortless. I loved how quiet and well-maintained the rooms were, with thoughtful touches that made me feel at home. The location is ideal whether you're here for a match or just exploring Prague. It’s rare to find such a great blend of comfort, convenience, and charm—all at a fantastic value. Would definitely return.
Staying at Wellness Hotel Step was an absolute delight! The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with all amenities thoughtfully provided. It had just the right size—spacious enough without feeling empty. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped, with a charming fountain right at the entrance. A short walk away is a lovely little park filled with cherry trees heavy with fruit—completely unguarded, so you can enjoy the natural beauty freely. Inside the park, there’s a cozy bar, a billiards room, a swimming pool, and a restaurant—all perfect for relaxing or socializing. The parking lot is spacious and convenient. For transportation, it’s only a few minutes’ walk to the main road where trams and buses stop regularly. I found it easy to get around town using public transit. Overall, this hotel offers a peaceful retreat with excellent value, great facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Prague!
Wow, Hotel Duo in Prague truly exceeded my expectations! The moment I stepped in, the cleanliness and modern vibe made me feel right at home. Breakfast was an absolute highlight—huge variety with both local Czech treats and international options, especially loved the fresh pastries and organic fruit juices. There are so many facilities—fitness center, indoor pool, cozy lounge—but honestly, we were too busy exploring the city to make use of them all. Still, knowing they’re there adds a nice touch. Location-wise, it’s perfect: quiet neighborhood but super close to metro and bus stops, making day trips around Prague effortless. If I ever return to this beautiful city, Hotel Duo would be my first choice again. A fantastic stay with unbeatable value!
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Svatojánský Dvůr. The breakfast was always abundant and delicious—great variety and fresh quality. Our room was spotless, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated, with a fantastic whirlpool tub that made for a relaxing evening. We dined at the hotel restaurant twice, and each meal exceeded expectations—excellent food, generous portions, and very reasonable prices. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit, making us feel truly welcome. No complaints at all—this is a top-tier choice for anyone visiting Prague. Highly recommended for both couples and families looking for comfort, charm, and great value.
The breakfast spread was absolutely fantastic—plenty of options, including several Asian-friendly choices like congee, dumplings, and fresh noodles. It’s great to see a hotel in Prague that caters to diverse tastes so thoughtfully. The location is perfect too—just a short walk from the city center and close to public transit. Staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Overall, an excellent stay with a real sense of comfort and value. Would definitely recommend and come back again.
Staying at Courtyard Prague City was a great experience overall. Definitely skip the standard or king room—go for the family room instead; it’s spacious and perfect for groups or families. The breakfast is solid, with a good variety of fresh fruits, though the selection stays pretty consistent across visits—would be nice to see more seasonal options. Staff are friendly and efficient, especially the white female manager who made a real effort to help with any request. She was professional yet warm, which really stood out. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the metro, making it super convenient for exploring the city. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for comfort, value, and reliable service in Prague.
The Comfort Hotel Prague City is an excellent choice for travelers visiting Prague. Located just a short distance from the city center, it's incredibly convenient for exploring major attractions—public transit is just steps away. Free parking is a major plus, especially if you're traveling by car. The surrounding area offers plenty of dining options, from local Czech restaurants to international cuisine. On the night we arrived, we noticed a group of domestic travelers staying at the hotel, which speaks volumes about its popularity and reliability. Breakfast was fantastic—abundant and varied, with hot dishes, fresh bread, jams, and beverages to suit every taste. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and great value make this hotel a standout. I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Prague.
The Residence Trafick is a fantastic choice—spacious, well-lit, and very comfortable for both short stays and longer visits. I’d definitely try a room with a large balcony next time; it would make the experience even better. Breakfast was excellent—variety and quality were top-notch, served buffet-style with fresh options to start the day right. One small suggestion: since cleaning is done every three days, it would be great if the room came stocked with at least 5–6 coffee capsules instead of just one. That way, guests can enjoy their morning brew without worry. Overall, this place offers great value, is well-located near public transit, and provides a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in Prague.
