After a full day of exploring, the direct shuttle drops us right at the hotel entrance, making the return journey seamless and stress-free. Dining in Chengdu is a dream—endless options for authentic Sichuan cuisine just steps away. I was especially grateful that the hotel kindly collected my package in advance; such thoughtful service really stands out. Taxis are readily available outside the main exit, with fares ranging from $12–17 for city destinations, around $40 to the Panda Base, and about $50 to Shuangliu Airport. It’s convenient, affordable, and reliable. Overall, this place offers incredible value, comfort, and convenience—perfect for travelers who want to experience Chengdu without the hassle.

Staying at Magic Live Smart Hotel was a great experience overall. The staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful—genuinely warm and attentive. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Chunxi Road and Taikoo Li, making it super convenient for exploring the area. We traveled as a group of five and were able to get upgraded to rooms on the same floor—such a thoughtful touch! They also offered luggage storage, which made our trip much smoother, especially since we did a lot of online shopping and didn’t want to carry everything around. One of the highlights was the delivery robot—it’s a fun, futuristic way to get food without leaving the room. The only minor downside is that the bathroom isn’t fully enclosed; you’re facing the mirror when sleeping, and the toilet flush is quite loud at night, which might disturb light sleepers. But honestly, these are small trade-offs for such a well-designed, tech-savvy hotel with excellent service and value. I’d definitely stay here again.

I loved that the lobby had authentic Sichuan snacks and seasonal hampers, and across the street is Wenshu Fang, a lively food alley with evening street stalls starting at 4 PM.
