The hotel faces the ancient city wall directly, and it’s only about a 1.7-kilometer stroll to Yongning Gate if you want to walk along the wall—a pleasant way to enjoy the historic surroundings. Upon check-in, the front desk proactively upgraded us to a larger room, which made a big difference: spacious enough to comfortably unpack and move around, and ideal for family travel. Cleanliness was spot-on, meeting standard expectations without any issues. One minor drawback is the parking situation—being a multi-level garage, it’s not the most user-friendly, especially for larger vehicles, though my compact car navigated it easily. Staying at the Atour X Hotel (New Town Square, Bell Tower), Xi'an was an absolute delight. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a super comfortable bed—perfect for a good night’s sleep. Despite being located right next to the provincial government office, the hotel remained remarkably quiet, especially considering its proximity to the bustling Bell Tower area. Everything felt peaceful and serene. I loved how convenient it was for exploring the city—walking distance to major attractions and just a short ride from the metro. The robotic food delivery system was a fun and efficient touch, making late-night snacks or meals effortless. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the staff, especially Wang Song, went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service. He made me feel truly welcome. I also appreciated the dedicated workspace with a solid computer desk—ideal for remote work or business needs. Honestly, I can’t find any downsides to this place. Whether you're here for leisure or business travel, this is hands-down my top choice in Xi’an. Highly recommended!
Sheraton Xi‘an Hotel
This was my second stay at this Sheraton, and I’m already planning my next visit. The pool area is absolutely perfect—serene, well-maintained, and just right for a relaxing swim. The service continues to impress; staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to help without being intrusive. It’s clear this hotel has built a strong reputation over the years, and it shows in every detail. I especially love the à la carte Chinese restaurant—two of the servers stood out with their warm smiles and attentive yet unobtrusive service. And the breakfast? Outstanding. Huge variety, fresh ingredients, and delicious flavors. Perfect start to the day. If you’re in Xi’an, this is definitely a top choice.
Courtyard by Marriott Xi'an North
We’ve stayed at Blue Sea Wind before and had an excellent experience, so when we planned a trip to Xi’an with our parents, this was our top choice. We booked two nights in a Club Room on a higher floor—great views of the city skyline, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The Club Lounge served delicious food with a nice variety, especially the afternoon tea spread—well-prepared and thoughtfully presented. Special thanks to Xiao Ma and Bella, who were incredibly helpful from the start. They offered useful travel tips and guidance well before arrival, and their warm, attentive service continued throughout our stay. The hotel is just steps away from the metro station, making it super convenient to explore the city center without hassle. Our parents were particularly impressed by the room comfort and cleanliness—they said it felt like home. Overall, the quality of service, location, and amenities exceeded expectations. This is definitely a hotel we’ll return to, and one we highly recommend to fellow travelers.

I just have to rave about Crystal at the front desk of Yongchang Hotel in Xi'an—her service was genuinely exceptional! From check-in, she proactively shared helpful details about the room and even reminded us of breakfast time and location. What truly blew me away was that all beverages in the mini-fridge were complimentary—no extra charges at all. The room itself was spotless, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and high-quality bathroom amenities. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained. And let’s talk about the fourth-floor pool and gym—accessible for free with our room key. The pool water was crystal clear, fresh, and completely odor-free, making it perfect for a refreshing swim. Afterward, I hit the gym and loved the clean, well-equipped space. It’s rare to find such thoughtful touches and excellent facilities in one place. I’ll definitely be booking here again on my next trip to Xi’an—highly recommend this hotel!
