The apartment is very well located—just a short walk to the tram and metro station heading to Brussels South Station, and there’s a small convenience store right in front for quick snacks or essentials. Everything was perfect except for one unsettling incident: we had an extra bed set up in the room, but not in use. While we were visiting Ghent, I received a message informing me that someone had entered the apartment and taken the bed. No warning, no notice—just walked in, took it, and left. Nothing else seemed missing, but the lack of communication and security made us feel uneasy. It’s hard to relax knowing someone could access the space without consent. I hope the property can improve its access control and guest communication to prevent such situations in the future.
