The staff, including the Chinese-speaking team, were friendly, helpful, and made me feel right at home. The hotel advised calling ahead one day before check-in, but my calls went unanswered—don’t worry, just head straight to the front desk and staff are very helpful in person. One small downside was the difficulty reaching guest services beforehand, but that didn’t affect the overall experience. With excellent location, comfort, and service on-site, this place earns a solid 9/10. Highly recommended!

The in-room mini-fridge was fully stocked with 10 free drinks daily, plus one bottle of wine. Housekeeping came twice daily—morning and afternoon—for a consistently clean space. The only minor issue was a slight musty smell upon arrival, but it disappeared within a few days. With so many stunning photo spots—definitely more than 20—I couldn’t stop taking pictures. This hotel is a true visual delight and an absolute highlight of my trip.

Yes, the immediate sea view is currently blocked by construction, but getting to nearby attractions is super convenient via taxi—especially Ferringhi Bay, where we cut travel time in half. If you're planning multiple nights in Penang, I’d strongly recommend splitting your stay between here and George Town. This place offers better value, comfort, and a more relaxed vibe than the city center, making it an ideal home base for exploring the island.
