Staying at Hongdae the Gray Hotel was an absolute delight. Located just steps from the main road, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring Hongdae and nearby areas—especially if you’re relying on public transit. The room itself was well-equipped and surprisingly quiet, which was a pleasant surprise given the bustling location. I was able to sleep soundly without any noise disturbance, even during peak hours. The overall atmosphere is modern and cozy, making it feel like a true home away from home. For such a central spot with excellent value, this hotel truly stands out. I’ll definitely be back next time I visit Seoul.
Sinchon Echae
I ended up booking this place last minute when I needed a quick stay in Sinchon. Even though it feels like it's been around for a while, the room was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable—definitely more than expected for the price. The bathroom was also quite large, which made it easy to move around and get ready without feeling cramped. It’s well located near subway access, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Great value for money, and I’d definitely consider staying here again if I’m back in Seoul.

The hotel is immaculate and beautifully designed, with an unbeatable location just steps away from LFC. What truly stood out was the front desk staff member who happened to be from Hong Kong—when they noticed we didn’t speak Korean, they went above and beyond to assist with check-in, patiently guiding us through the process. It’s rare to feel such genuine care while traveling far from home. I really wanted to thank them in person, but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to see them again. Finding a familiar face in a foreign city made all the difference—it felt like a small but meaningful connection. A heartfelt thanks to that kind soul for making our stay so much more personal and welcoming.

I stayed here during Chuseok and was pleasantly surprised. Compared to the nearby motels, this place stands out as a much better option—especially if you're staying in Dongjak or Daebangdong area. The rooms have great potential; with a bit more upkeep, it could easily be a solid 4-star hotel. It's just a short walk from the subway station, making commuting super convenient. There are plenty of dining options around, so whether you're hanging out with friends or enjoying a quiet evening with your partner, this is the perfect spot to unwind. A truly relaxing and comfortable stay that feels like your own personal retreat.
