If you're heading to Shanghai Stadium or Sports Arena for a concert, it's only one stop on the metro—or even easier, a short walk or bike ride away. This A.T.HOUSE property has that modern art vibe I love. The second-floor afternoon tea lounge and late-night dining spot are both stylish and inviting. The pastries are delicious, and the chicken soup wontons as well as the pork-filled dumplings are seriously satisfying. I was originally booked into a room type that wasn’t available yet, but the team kindly upgraded me to a Premium Suite—huge upgrade in space, view, and design. Everything felt thoughtfully curated. I ordered fresh fruit platters after my concert, and they arrived at my door in no time. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the service throughout was top-notch. Even at check-out, they handed me a lovely souvenir—a large record-shaped biscuit box that’s both cute and tasty. If there’s another concert in town, this will be my go-to hotel again.

That kind of personal touch is rare. Breakfast was an absolute highlight—huge variety, beautifully presented. From freshly steamed dim sum and handmade noodles to a wide selection of breads, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, and even ice cream, every detail was thoughtfully curated. Wu Feifei at the main lobby also delivered top-notch hospitality. The lush greenery throughout the property added a peaceful touch, making the whole experience even more relaxing. With such a high standard of comfort, service, and ambiance, I’d definitely return without hesitation.

The atmosphere here is truly impressive—every detail, from the grand chandeliers to the elegant tableware, exudes sophistication and thoughtfulness. The room itself is spacious and incredibly comfortable, with a plush bed and sofa that made it hard to leave. The bathtub is generously sized, perfect for soaking while enjoying the stunning city views at night—pure relaxation. Staff service stands out in every way: friendly, attentive, and always one step ahead. From the moment we arrived, the concierge helped with luggage promptly, and check-in was smooth and efficient. Our personal butler, Peggy, was incredibly responsive—any request, big or small, was handled instantly. The 55th-floor lounge offers serene ambiance and breathtaking panoramic views. We enjoyed both lunch and dinner there—the menu is diverse and delicious, so much so that I could easily eat five meals a day without getting tired of it! This place delivers on luxury, comfort, and exceptional hospitality. A must-stay if you're looking for an unforgettable experience.

Absolutely loved my stay at The Sukhothai Shanghai! The hotel is perfectly located right next to Taikoo Hui, so you're just steps away from the iconic LV boat photo spot—perfect for Instagram. When I arrived, my original room was sold out, but the front desk team went above and beyond by upgrading me to a spacious suite without any hassle. Walking into the room was a total surprise—the layout is elegant, the decor is sophisticated, and the space felt luxurious yet welcoming. I honestly didn’t want to leave! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Breakfast was an amazing spread with a wide variety of options, fresh and delicious. This experience has already made The Sukhothai my top choice for future trips to Shanghai.
