As a long-standing five-star property, the service level is consistently excellent. The location is unbeatable—right next to Wulin Night Market, and just a 10-minute walk to West Lake. The hotel is brand new, and there’s still a faint smell of fresh paint in the room—nothing overwhelming, just a reminder that it’s freshly renovated. Everything is well thought out: modern amenities, spacious layout, and plenty of storage space with generous closet space. The staff are friendly and professional, and breakfast is solid—especially the coffee machine, which delivers a great cup every time. My only note is that when we checked in during late November, the air conditioning wasn’t working—we were stuck at 19°C. We assumed it was our mistake at first, but after two cold nights, we finally called the front desk. They explained that heating isn’t turned on until winter officially starts; since November is considered fall here, they don’t activate the heating system yet. They quickly sent over a small electric heater, which made all the difference. It’s a minor inconvenience, but handled well by the team. Overall, this is a fantastic value for the location—super convenient if you're traveling through Hangzhou East Railway Station, and I’d definitely stay again.
