The overall environment is excellent, and the location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from Wensan Road Metro Station, making it easy to get to West Lake or downtown Hangzhou. The room was spotlessly clean, with a well-maintained bathroom and sink, and the electric privacy glass in the restroom adds a nice modern touch. Service truly stood out—the front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and even the security guard went above and beyond by helping us heat up food late at night and kindly transferring our laundry from the washing machine to the dryer without being asked. While the facilities are from about five years ago, they’re still in great condition thanks to consistent maintenance. With such a prime location, excellent service, and a real sense of care, I ended up extending my stay by one extra day. Definitely worth it—highly recommend for anyone visiting Hangzhou.

During New Year’s holiday, when ride-sharing and buses were restricted near the scenic area, the hotel arranged a shuttle to drop us off right at the entrance, which was incredibly convenient. Everything was seamless and well-organized. This place isn’t just comfortable — it’s truly special. A perfect blend of tranquility, luxury, and exceptional service. I’ll definitely be returning.
Sunday Sunny Resort
This was hands down the best booking of our trip—booked early before prices went up, and the value for money was outstanding. Nestled on San Tai Mountain, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat with fresh air and stunning natural surroundings. The nearest bus stop is at Yu Qian Temple, but we actually preferred walking to Wugui Tan to try the rowboat ride—unfortunately, it was canceled due to weather, but we made up for it by taking a scenic water bus from Guo Zhuang Pier to Hua Gang Guan Yu. The views along the way were absolutely beautiful. After exploring Hua Gang Guan Yu, we returned via the Xiao Lian Qing Feng line from Su Di Pier, which dropped us right at Yu Qian Temple Station—perfect for heading back to the hotel. One small downside: limited food delivery options nearby, but overall, the experience was flawless. This place truly delivers comfort, convenience, and charm.
