Staying at Manshexi Garden was an absolute delight! The room was spotlessly clean, with every detail meticulously maintained—right from the front desk to the serene garden areas. The atmosphere is so peaceful and beautifully designed, like stepping into a traditional Chinese landscape painting. Afternoon tea was a real highlight—elegant presentation and delicious flavors, perfect for Instagram-worthy moments. I especially loved the Hanfu photo experience; I changed into a traditional outfit and took countless stunning pictures. The staff were exceptional—especially Xiao Jie and Weiwei, who went above and beyond with their warm, attentive service. They made me feel right at home. This place truly offers a unique blend of comfort, culture, and charm. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hangzhou.

Staying at Zheda Yuanzheng Lanshe Hotel was a fantastic experience. Located just steps away from Hefang Street and the historic Southern Song Imperial Street, it’s incredibly convenient for exploring Hangzhou’s cultural heart. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—simple but functional, fitting perfectly for a cozy, no-frills stay. The staff were warm and helpful throughout our visit. What stood out most was the unbeatable value for money in this area of West Lake. A minor note: the metal door in the bathroom has a strong chemical smell, and the handle design could be sharper—could use a bit of refinement to avoid accidental scratches. But honestly, these small issues don’t take away from the overall great impression. I’d definitely book here again when visiting Hangzhou.

The overall experience was excellent, especially the concierge and luggage service right at the entrance—very attentive and helpful. The location is super convenient, just a short subway ride away, making it easy to explore downtown Hangzhou. I stayed on the 7777th floor, and the room itself was top-notch. However, one minor downside: when I went up to check out the buffet area in advance, the front desk operator seemed unfriendly, and the staff member who greeted me had a clearly unenthusiastic expression—almost as if I’d interrupted something. It felt a bit awkward, like being brushed off, even though I was only there to preview the space. That said, since I already purchased a 5-visit pass that isn’t refundable, I had to accept it. Still, kudos to the customer service team—they were consistently thoughtful, responsive, and professional throughout my stay. With their support, it’s easy to overlook the small bump in the process. Overall, the hotel delivers great value, and I’d definitely consider returning.

I always stay here when visiting Hangzhou, and it never disappoints. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Longjing Village and Maokou, with serene views of nature right outside the door. Unlike the crowded areas around West Lake, this place feels peaceful and quiet, perfect for unwinding. The staff are incredibly friendly and responsive—any issue I had was addressed immediately. Though it’s a classic hotel with a slightly vintage feel, the rooms remain elegant, clean, and well-equipped. I loved having both a large bathtub and a separate shower, plus a private balcony to enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Staying here for several days allowed me to fully soak in the beauty of autumn in Hangzhou. Absolutely ideal.

Nestled right beside the serene Jiuxi Scenic Area, this hidden gem feels like stepping into a tranquil painting. As soon as you step outside, the sound of flowing water greets you—crisp, clear, and soothing. The maple trees lining the creek create a stunning autumn scene, making it one of the best spots for photography without needing to go far. The location is perfect: peaceful yet accessible, with a beautiful blend of traditional Jiangnan garden aesthetics and modern minimalist design. Every window frames a lush green view, truly bringing nature into your stay. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and spotless. Breakfast options were modest but fresh and satisfying. Staff were attentive and friendly, always ready to help. It’s rare to find such a quiet, authentic retreat so close to nature—perfect for unwinding and recharging. A standout experience, definitely worth returning.

Staying at Friendship Hotel Hangzhou (West Lake Branch) was an absolute delight. The location is incredibly convenient—just a 5-minute walk from the West Lake Music Fountain, and only a 3-minute stroll from Exit D of Longxiangqiao Metro Station on Line 1. There’s also a direct bus to Lingyin Temple just steps away, making sightseeing effortless. I booked a lake-view room, and it’s absolutely worth it—every morning and evening, waking up to the serene view of West Lake instantly lifted my mood. We arrived around 8:30 AM, and the staff member at the entrance immediately spotted us, rushed over, and helped carry our luggage despite the small steps leading to the front desk. We were planning to just drop off our bags, but the front desk agent, YY, kindly checked availability and offered early check-in—perfect timing since it was our wedding anniversary. She even called the revolving restaurant to confirm a table for dinner that night, and we were lucky enough to get one! After checking in, we headed out to explore, then returned around 5 PM to find our room beautifully decorated—such a sweet surprise, clearly arranged by YY. The buffet dinner runs from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM, and as a guest, we paid just 308 RMB instead of the regular 388—great value. The food was outstanding: unlimited Fo Tiao Qiang, and each guest received a generous large crab—huge and delicious. Breakfast was also served in the same rotating dining room, from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM, where you can enjoy fresh dishes while watching the sunrise over the lake—truly unforgettable. When we asked about extending checkout to 1 PM, YY happily accommodated it. And when we left, she handed us complimentary bath products—a thoughtful touch that truly made the stay special. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, polite, and genuinely helpful. If I ever return to Hangzhou, this hotel will be my first choice. Highly recommended!

Staying at Marco Hotel in Hangzhou (West Lake branch) was such a unique and memorable experience. The entire hotel is thoughtfully themed around Marco Polo, with charming details throughout the lobby and rooms that transport you into his adventurous world. One of the highlights? The rooftop terrace—on a clear day, you can see sweeping views of West Lake stretching into the distance. It’s perfect for sunset moments or just relaxing with a drink. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, especially the front desk agent, Miss Xiao Yuan, who went above and beyond to make sure every need was met. Her warm hospitality really made a difference. Rooms are clean, well-maintained, and come with bathtubs—ideal after a long day exploring Hangzhou’s sights. The location is convenient, close to public transit, and overall, the value for money is outstanding. A truly delightful stay.

I've stayed at countless hotels, but this one truly stood out. The front desk staff went above and beyond—friendly, genuine, and attentive from the moment I arrived. They upgraded my room for free, helped with luggage, even offered tea and a spare umbrella when it started raining. Their warmth wasn't forced; it felt natural and heartfelt. The breakfast was beautifully presented, fresh, and delicious. The hotel itself is quiet and well-maintained, with a peaceful vibe that makes it perfect for unwinding. Plus, there are several great dining options nearby, and it's just a short walk to public transit if you want to explore the city. Honestly, the service here made me feel like a guest, not just a customer. If you're looking for a relaxing, authentic stay in Hangzhou with incredible hospitality, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back.

This was hands down the best booking of our trip—booked early before prices went up, and the value for money was outstanding. Nestled on San Tai Mountain, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat with fresh air and stunning natural surroundings. The nearest bus stop is at Yu Qian Temple, but we actually preferred walking to Wugui Tan to try the rowboat ride—unfortunately, it was canceled due to weather, but we made up for it by taking a scenic water bus from Guo Zhuang Pier to Hua Gang Guan Yu. The views along the way were absolutely beautiful. After exploring Hua Gang Guan Yu, we returned via the Xiao Lian Qing Feng line from Su Di Pier, which dropped us right at Yu Qian Temple Station—perfect for heading back to the hotel. One small downside: limited food delivery options nearby, but overall, the experience was flawless. This place truly delivers comfort, convenience, and charm.

This trip to Hangzhou was made even better by choosing the right place to stay! CityNote Hotel is perfectly located—just a short ride on a shared bike from West Lake, where I enjoyed stunning views and a peaceful stroll along the shore. Right next door is Yintai Mall and Hangzhou Jiebai, so shopping and dining are super convenient with no need to go far. The room was immaculate—crisp clean sheets, fresh linens, and an overall sense of quiet comfort. What surprised me most was how quiet it was, even late at night, making for a restful sleep. The staff went above and beyond too—free late-night snacks and cocktails were a delightful surprise. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered. This hotel offers amazing value and a truly memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Staying at Hangzhou Jinxi Hotel was an absolute delight. Nestled just a short stroll from the scenic West Lake, this hidden gem offers a perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. The surrounding area is rich with attractions—Bai Shan Street, Quyuan Fenghe, Guo Mansion, the Botanical Garden, and Maojia Bu are all within easy reach. The hotel itself exudes timeless elegance with a modern touch; the rooms are spacious, thoughtfully furnished, and impeccably clean. Housekeeping is prompt and thorough, ensuring a fresh, welcoming atmosphere throughout. What truly stood out was the exceptional service—especially from staff member Hong Xia, whose professionalism, warmth, and proactive approach made our stay unforgettable. The in-house Chinese restaurant also exceeded expectations: attentive, friendly staff, particularly a gentleman supervisor who went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience on both visits. This is not just a place to stay—it’s a true retreat. Highly recommend for anyone seeking authenticity, comfort, and value near West Lake. We’ll definitely be back.

Hangzhou is one of my favorite cities to visit, and every time I come here, I make sure to stay at Hangzhou Xinqiao Hotel. The location is unbeatable—right next to the subway station, making it super convenient to explore the city. What truly stood out this time was the exceptional hospitality. With heavy luggage and feeling a bit sluggish, the front desk staff member Xiao Hu went above and beyond—he personally helped carry our bags up to the room. That small act of kindness made a big difference and really warmed my heart. The service, attention to detail, and overall atmosphere are exactly why I keep coming back. A truly memorable stay with genuine care from start to finish.
