We spent New Year's Eve at the Hilton Nanjing Riverside with my entire family, booking two rooms for a three-night stay. The overall experience was fantastic! There were a few minor hiccups during our stay, but once we brought them up, the hotel staff responded quickly and resolved everything promptly—really impressive service. On New Year’s Day, our room was beautifully set with welcome fruits, and they were restocked throughout our stay along with refreshing drinks—so thoughtful. The rooms were spacious, with smart bathroom layout and top-quality bedding that made for an incredibly peaceful night’s sleep, completely quiet and cozy. We also tried the hotel’s spa, and the therapist’s technique was excellent—very relaxing and professional. During our time in Nanjing, we explored some local highlights and enjoyed authentic street food, all of which added to the joyful atmosphere. Everyone in the family had a wonderful time. The hotel truly lives up to the Hilton standard—excellent service, attention to detail, and outstanding value for money. If I ever come back to Nanjing, this will be my first choice without hesitation.

Turn left, and you’re right in front of Wanda Plaza, where shopping, dining, and entertainment are all within reach. My favorite part? The small balcony inside the room—complete with a cozy sofa, a little table, and a drying rack. It’s such a peaceful nook to relax in, especially on a sunny afternoon. This place feels like home away from home, with great value and charm. Definitely coming back!

The AC kept the room comfortably warm, and every faucet delivered hot water—such a small but thoughtful touch. The room itself was spotless, well-organized, and spacious, with a desk perfect for working or eating. The pillow height was just right, and the thick tissues plus complimentary mineral water were nice extras. The housekeeping staff were also very kind and attentive. What really stood out was how convenient the area is. Right downstairs, there are so many great dining options. Near a local middle school, the food here suits both kids and adults—think McDonald’s, Ji Ming Tangbao, and even a hidden gem called Xin He Zhai for lamb dishes, which is always packed. Another must-try is Hong Jie’s Jianbing, where they serve authentic Nanjing pidi mian with incredibly fresh meat slices—highly recommended! There's also a community service center and an underground market where you can grab steaming hot youtiao and zongzi in the morning. For dinner, I tried Hu Bian Li, and the flavors were outstanding. Overall, this stay was fantastic—excellent value, clean rooms, great location, and amazing hospitality. I’d definitely book again. Thank you, front desk guy—you made my trip special!

Staying at Guisu Apartment (Jian'ye Wuyue Plaza Branch) was an absolute highlight of my trip to Nanjing. The staff were incredibly helpful—when I couldn’t find the building, I called for assistance and they patiently guided me step by step, which made a huge difference. The apartment itself was thoughtfully prepared with all the essentials, even little snacks included. The layout is modern and spacious, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light. The projector works great, though it’s only free for 5 minutes—haha, but still perfect for quick movie nights. One thing I appreciated was the separate sink and toilet area, which added a nice touch of privacy. The bed was super comfortable, and the door lock is controlled via a mobile app—no keys needed, very convenient. Location-wise, it’s a bit far from the subway, but that’s more than offset by the convenience of being right next to Wuyue Plaza and just one crosswalk away from Wanda Plaza. There’s also a lively night market downstairs with local food stalls—perfect for a casual dinner after exploring. Overall, this place offers excellent value, a welcoming vibe, and a great base for discovering the city. Definitely recommend!
