First off, breakfast in the executive lounge was a game-changer: quiet, private, and hassle-free. Unlike other hotels where you’re forced to join crowded dining areas or even queue for breakfast, here everything felt calm and seamless. Even at the same price point, most properties don’t proactively explain room amenities or benefits—some guests end up missing perks because staff forget to apply them. At The Ritz-Carlton, they take care of it all upfront, which made my stay so much smoother. And then there’s David, my personal concierge—extremely professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. He recommended Sakura Terrace, a Japanese restaurant that perfectly matched my partner’s taste. The owner actually mentioned he was grateful for the recommendation from the hotel, which speaks volumes about their local partnerships. I booked through the platform because the Marriott app didn’t suit my style, but regardless of booking channel, The Ritz-Carlton remains the gold standard in luxury hospitality.

The only downside? Traffic congestion during city restrictions made getting around tricky, especially trying to hail a cab for dinner. Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—right next to the subway line 3, making it super easy to explore Harbin’s central areas like Central Street. The lobby is spacious, clean, and cozy, with a warm welcome: hot ginger tea and little snacks available for guests—such a thoughtful touch. My room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed, with excellent soundproofing. Breakfast was fantastic—wide variety of both Western and local options, fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help without being pushy. What really stood out was the value for money—this place offers luxury-level comfort at a surprisingly fair price. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Harbin, and I’ll be back myself.

The hotel is perfectly located just a short walk from Central Street and St. Sophia Cathedral, making it super convenient for sightseeing. From the moment I stepped into my room, I was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail—the space felt fresh, odor-free, and well-maintained. The DeRUCCI mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows provided just the right support for a restful night’s sleep. What really stood out was the free evening milk offered each night—it’s such a thoughtful touch that made me feel cared for. Hot water pressure was excellent, so I never had to worry about lukewarm showers. Staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. Overall, this was an exceptional stay—well worth every penny. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Harbin.

The hotel’s European-style decor creates a warm, inviting atmosphere, making it feel more like home than a typical stay. The smart room controls are super convenient—adjusting lighting and climate is seamless. On the 6th floor, there’s a fully functional laundry room with both washer and dryer, which is perfect for longer stays. And on the ground floor, guests can use computers for internet access and printing—very helpful for business travelers or those needing quick errands. Located just steps from the train station, it’s also a short ride to Central Street. Everything about this place feels well thought out, and the service is genuinely attentive. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Harbin—it's a gem!

Staying at the Harbin Polar Bear Hotel near Sun Island Metro Station was an absolute delight! While the indoor polar exhibit isn't very large and might be quickly explored by adults—especially if you miss the show timing—it's perfect for kids. The real magic happens with the hotel’s unique theme: real polar bears and penguins! Even as a 300-month-old 'big kid,' I had so much fun joining in the activities. The staff were incredibly friendly—the cute girl even handed me a scratch card, which added a nice surprise touch. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the iconic Sun Island Snowman. You won’t see polar bears from your room, but they’re frequently spotted in the hallways and restaurant areas, making it exciting for little ones. Morning sessions with the mischievous ‘school-skipping’ penguin include fun educational moments that kids love. (Just kidding—if your child hasn’t finished their homework, maybe don’t bring them… or risk getting a playful lecture!) Overall, this place is charming, well-thought-out, and offers a memorable experience for families. Highly recommend for a fun, themed stay in Harbin!

I’ve always had a soft spot for Wyndham hotels, and this trip with my kids was no exception—I knew I wanted to stay at one again. Unfortunately, the first night was fully booked, so we checked in the next day—but it was totally worth the wait! The room temperature was perfect—just right, not too hot or dry, which made for a restful night’s sleep. My kids loved the quiet, comfortable environment, and they were already excited about coming back after a full day of exploring. Breakfast was excellent—great variety, both Western and local options, with fresh ingredients that even picky eaters enjoyed. Overall, an amazing stay with fantastic value. The resort itself is the starting point for the Songhua River cable car, so you can glide across the river without even leaving the property. The panoramic views of both banks at night are simply breathtaking. As the world’s first chocolate-themed castle hotel, the aroma of cocoa fills the air as soon as you enter. On the 4th floor, there’s a chocolate art workshop where you can craft your own custom chocolate souvenir. The 5th floor houses a chocolate museum featuring giant chocolate sculptures—absolutely Instagram-worthy. Don’t miss the M&M-themed desserts at COCO Castle Restaurant. And every day, they hand out limited-edition chocolate gift boxes—such a sweet little surprise to take home. Despite being in the middle of a major attraction area, the rooms are surprisingly spacious. European-style furniture with intricate carvings and vintage fireplaces give each room a luxurious, aristocratic vibe. Harbin Sun Island Hotel

We originally booked Friendship Palace for our trip to Harbin during the May Day holiday, but due to the strong smell from recent renovations, we had to switch last minute—luckily, only one room was left at Sun Island Hotel. What a lucky coincidence! The hotel is actually located within a large, serene park, offering a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The rooms are quiet, with clean air and excellent sound insulation—perfect for a good night’s sleep. Best of all, it's just a short walk to Sun Island Scenic Area and Polar Park, so we didn’t need to rely on transportation. Everything was convenient, well-maintained, and beautifully situated. Our stay exceeded expectations—this place truly delivers comfort, location, and value. I’d definitely come back.
