The indoor pool is massive and incredibly relaxing, especially when you can see the Namsan Tower in the distance. It really helped release all the tension I’d been carrying. The room itself is elegant without being overbearing—clean, well-maintained, and spotless. The sofa and bed were both comfortable, and the mattress was so plush, I felt like I was being hugged the second I lay down. The bedding was soft and cozy, leading to one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve had in a long time. The bathroom? Impeccable—crisp, clean, and luxurious. Breakfast came around 9:30 AM, so there was a short wait, but I actually preferred it this way—no noisy buffet crowds, no distractions, just a peaceful start to the day. I ordered natto with abalone, followed by sea urchin egg custard and fresh fruit—simple yet delicious, perfect for a light morning meal. I didn’t get to enjoy the famous pool this time (a bit disappointing), but I’m already planning my next visit. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat within the heart of Seoul, Banyan Tree is truly the answer.

Inside, the hotel is spotless, well-maintained, and offers a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. The room was clean, spacious, and very quiet, with a cozy bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and efficient throughout our stay. Whether you're here for business or leisure, this place delivers excellent value and comfort. It’s definitely a go-to recommendation for anyone visiting Seoul—I’ll be back!
Royal Hotel Seoul
This is our second stay at this lovely hotel, and we’re even more impressed this time around. We were in room 1222 on the 12th floor—quiet, well-lit, and with a great view. The shower curtain was a bit worn on day one, but by the next morning it had already been replaced without us even having to ask—really impressive attention to detail. One small downside: there were no charging ports or outlets near the bed, which made plugging in devices a bit of a hassle. However, after we mentioned it during our last night, they promptly added a multi-outlet adapter near the bedside table. It wasn’t perfect—still not ideal for charging while lying in bed—but definitely a welcome upgrade. Overall, the staff’s responsiveness and hospitality made a big difference. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the subway, and everything from shopping to sightseeing is super accessible. A truly enjoyable experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

Staff were attentive, professional, and always ready to help. Being connected directly to Novotel and Mercure buildings is a huge plus—no need to worry about weather when moving between spaces. Plenty of parking available, which is rare in central Seoul. The elevator link to Yongsan Station is a game-changer: even without a car, guests can move around easily and comfortably. Perfect for business travelers or families who want hassle-free convenience and smart connectivity.

Rooms are spotless, well-maintained, and surprisingly comfortable, with a peaceful atmosphere perfect for a good night’s sleep. Staff members are friendly, helpful, and always smiling—truly a highlight of the stay. One of the best features? A small CU convenience store right on the 14th floor, stocked with snacks, drinks, toiletries, and essentials. This is incredibly convenient for international travelers who want to grab something without leaving the building. Overall, the experience was excellent—great location, clean rooms, superb service, and thoughtful amenities. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Seoul.

This was my sixth trip to Korea, and without a doubt, this is the most impressive hotel I've stayed at here. While it's a bit of a walk from the subway station, the bus stop is right outside the door—making access to the city incredibly convenient. The room was immaculate, with modern design and thoughtful touches that made it feel luxurious. The staff were warm and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. From the quiet ambiance to the excellent amenities, every detail felt intentional. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.

Hot water in the shower was strong and consistent, which made my morning routine stress-free. Location-wise, it’s super convenient—close to Olive Young, MIMILine, Egg Drop, and SPAREX Sauna, plus a short walk to Namsan Park, perfect for families with kids. While it’s not as lively as Myeongdong, all my favorite shops are within easy reach. Getting to Myeongdong is quick via Subway Line 2, and taxis are affordable too. For a comfortable stay with great value, this hotel is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

Step outside and you're instantly in the middle of Myeongdong's vibrant shopping district—walking five to ten minutes gets you to Lotte Department Store and Lotte Duty-Free, with endless dining, shopping, and entertainment options nearby. Evenings here are lively and full of energy. The room itself is a bit dated but spotlessly clean, with everything neatly organized. Complimentary bottled water, tea bags, and coffee pods are provided, plus a small fridge for convenience. There’s a vanity area with a mirror just outside the bathroom—very practical for getting ready. The bathroom features both a bathtub and a shower within it, and hot water flows consistently. Towels and bath sheets are included, though like most Korean hotels, there’s no disposable toiletries—bring your own. The slippers aren’t single-use but were clearly sanitized. One standout feature is the free self-service locker on the first floor—perfect for storing large suitcases. You set your own password and keep track of your box number, which is simple once you get used to it. Overall, this hotel delivers excellent value with its central location, cleanliness, and thoughtful touches. It’s ideal for travelers who want comfort, convenience, and a great base for exploring Seoul.
