The hotel exudes luxury and elegance, perfectly positioned right by West Lake—just a short walk to the water’s edge where you can enjoy peaceful strolls or take a boat ride whenever you feel like it. Nearby attractions like Yue Wang Temple and Gushan Island are easily accessible, making it ideal for exploring the area. The service here is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and professional. I appreciated the complimentary parking, though I did note the local odd-even license plate restrictions, so plan accordingly if driving. Rooms are immaculate, spotless, and beautifully designed with modern comforts. It’s worth mentioning that this property was formerly known as Hangzhou Hotel, a historic landmark on Beishan Road, now revitalized under the Shangri-La brand—a perfect blend of heritage and world-class hospitality. With great value for money and such a prime location, this is one of the best stays in Hangzhou I’ve experienced.
