The lounge’s afternoon tea and dinner were exceptional: fresh ingredients, elegant presentation, and the evening drinks were unlimited, which was a real treat. Breakfast was a bit crowded, but the menu was varied and the food tasted great—though I missed trying the dan dan noodles this time (will definitely go back for that!). When checking out, I requested a late checkout, and although they could only accommodate a short extension due to high occupancy, they made every effort to help. Overall, the experience was outstanding—from service to amenities, every detail felt special. This is luxury done right, and I’d happily return again.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly—the lady’s voice was so soothing, and her service was prompt, warm, and professional. We even received a cute little bear as a welcome gift, which brought a smile to our faces. Breakfast offered a great variety: the congee with century egg and lean pork stood out as a unique local highlight, though I’d have loved to see some Cantonese cheong fun on the menu. Freshly squeezed juice, smoked salmon, and the flavorful chicken broth base at the noodle station were all excellent—but adding more types of dumplings and soup variations would be a nice upgrade. Dinner at the Executive Lounge was a real treat: dining high above the city with panoramic views of Canton Tower lit up at night felt unforgettable. Despite being around for years, the hotel doesn’t feel outdated at all—the rooms and public areas are well-maintained and fresh. The staff are attentive and genuinely helpful, going the extra mile without being pushy. Breakfast is a highlight—wide variety, excellent quality, and great value for money. Nearby universities like Jinan University and South China Normal University are just a short walk away, perfect for academic visitors or students. Upon check-in, the front desk generously upgraded us to a larger room—no extra charge! We also appreciated the free self-service laundry and the excellent breakfast buffet offering both Western and Chinese options. Clean, convenient, and well thought out—this is definitely a top choice for business travelers and visiting scholars alike.

Instead of hitting the crowded tourist spots, I started my day early with a stroll through Dongshan Village, exploring the old Western-style houses and sipping coffee at a cozy café near Kuiyuan Art Museum. In the afternoon, I rented a bike and rode along Binjiang East Road, enjoying the cool river breeze while taking in views of Canton Tower in the distance. For dinner, I followed the front desk’s recommendation and headed to a nearby local street for authentic claypot rice—so flavorful and memorable. Location-wise, it’s unbeatable: just a 2-minute walk from the subway entrance, surrounded by authentic neighborhood vibes. Cleanliness is top-notch—the linens were crisp white, and attention to small details showed real care. Honestly, it felt like living in a cozy temporary home. The only minor downside? Parking is on the expensive side. If they offered free parking, it’d be flawless. Overall, this place delivers incredible value. Highly recommend staying here if you want comfort, convenience, and a true local experience.

Staying at this apartment in Zhujiang New Town was a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable—right next to the metro station, making it super convenient for getting around Guangzhou. Check-in requires a phone call ahead of time, which might be a bit confusing for first-time visitors, but once you know the routine, it’s smooth sailing. The building shares the same complex as the Wiper Hotel, so security and cleanliness are top-notch. There’s even a hospital nearby, which adds extra peace of mind. Inside, the unit was spotless, with a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine—perfect for longer stays or travelers who want to cook their own meals. It’s way more practical than staying in a hotel. I’d definitely book here again and recommend it to friends without hesitation. A truly great value stay!
