The room was clean, cozy, and warm, with incredibly comfortable pillows that made for a restful night’s sleep. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from Sanlitun Taikoo Li, Workers' Stadium, and convenient subway access. Everything we wanted was within walking distance. Staying in Beijing and exploring the old hutongs or visiting must-see attractions? Choosing the right hotel can save you half the effort — and this Ji Hotel location near Nanluoguxiang and Andingmen Subway Station was an absolute surprise highlight of my trip. The location alone is unbeatable. Nestled right at the entrance of Chejianshi Hutong, it’s easy to spot, just a 8-minute walk to Andingmen Metro Station (Line 2) and only 3 minutes from the nearby bus stop. Whether you're heading straight to Beijing Railway Station via subway or taking a quick bus ride to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, everything is within reach. What really impressed me was how dense the attractions are around here: just 9 minutes to Guozijian, 14 minutes to Yonghe Temple, and a 10-minute stroll into the lively heart of Nanluoguxiang. Nearby landmarks like Drum Tower, Confucius Temple, and Houhai are all either walking distance or a short ride away. And dining? No worries — local eateries and a Wumart supermarket are literally steps from the front door, so you can enjoy authentic Beijing flavors without going far. The room itself reflects the classic Ji Hotel charm. Even though it opened in 2017, it feels fresh and well-maintained with no signs of aging. At 15–20 sqm, the layout is compact but not cramped, featuring clean wooden finishes that feel calming and timeless. Plenty of charging outlets at the bedside and desk, reliable free Wi-Fi, smart TV with screen mirroring, and a mini-fridge — all standard but thoughtfully included. The floor heating in winter was a real comfort, and staff even offered a humidifier upon request. Cleanliness is top-tier: every corner, especially bathroom nooks, was spotless. A subtle, pleasant scent greeted me upon check-in, and housekeeping staff proactively restocked bottled water and provided high-quality toiletries — it felt genuinely cared for. Some rooms have windows, offering great natural light and surprisingly good sound insulation. Despite being in a historic alleyway, I slept peacefully through the night. Service was warm, efficient, and attentive throughout. Using the Huazhu Club app, I could pre-select my room and check in within 30 seconds — zero waiting time. Front desk staff were friendly, patient, and helpful when answering questions about sightseeing routes; they even upgraded me to a window-facing room at no extra cost. 24-hour support means you can borrow umbrellas or cables anytime, and delivery robots bring food straight to your door — safe, convenient, and futuristic. Breakfast was the real bonus. For just ¥40 per person, the buffet offers a fantastic mix of Chinese and Western options. Freshly cooked rice porridge made with Wuchang rice, soy milk from Heilongjiang, handmade noodles and wontons, daily rotating hot dishes, fresh fruit, whole grains, and tea eggs — all served with care. The noodle chef was particularly welcoming and enthusiastic, making breakfast feel special. Overall, this Ji Hotel stands out thanks to its unbeatable location, consistent quality, and thoughtful touches. If you’re planning a deep dive into Beijing’s old city life and value convenience, comfort, and reliability, this is hands-down a no-brainer choice. It’s the perfect balance between authentic local charm and the peace of mind that comes with a trusted chain brand. I’ll definitely come back here on my next visit.

Staying at Blossom House·Hou Hai Beijing in Yangfang Hutong was such a delightful experience. It felt less like staying in a hotel and more like being welcomed into a home. This place has a special charm, and I’ll definitely return.
