Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile was an absolute delight, especially for someone who loves walking. The location is unbeatable—everything I wanted to see, from the Magnificent Mile to Millennium Park, was within a 3-kilometer radius and easily reachable on foot. That’s a dream for a walking enthusiast like me. Right across the street is a massive supermarket with everything you could need—groceries, snacks, toiletries—and it stays open until well past 11 PM, which is perfect for late-night essentials. On the ground floor, there’s an UNO’s Pizza that’s always packed, open until 11 PM too, and just a short 3-minute walk away is a fantastic seafood restaurant—delicious food, though a bit pricey, but totally worth it. The Red Line subway is literally right outside the hotel entrance, making travel to Midway Airport super convenient. Just transfer once to the Orange Line, then walk five minutes—entirely indoors, so no worries about rain or bad weather. The room itself was spacious, clean, and modernly decorated, typical of U.S. hotels where space isn’t an issue like in Southeast Asia. Room amenities were excellent: coffee maker, safe, mini-fridge (though keep in mind it only makes ice—my milk and yogurt froze solid! 😂), microwave, and even a full ironing board. I took advantage of that to press all my clothes before heading home—huge plus. Housekeeping comes every other day, which is standard, but any request via phone gets handled quickly. The only thing to note: if you’re sensitive to noise, bring earplugs—there are occasional late-night sirens from patrol cars, but nothing disruptive. Overall, this hotel delivers incredible value, great convenience, and a comfortable stay in the heart of downtown Chicago. If I ever return to the city, I’d absolutely book here again.
Staying here for three nights was a great experience overall. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Michigan Lake and convenient for getting around downtown Chicago via public transit. My room had a side view of the lake, which was absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning light. While the hotel is established with older-style decor, it’s well-maintained and spotlessly clean. The double-bed room was surprisingly spacious—perfect for four people without feeling cramped. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the value for money was excellent. Despite its vintage charm, the comfort and convenience make it a standout choice. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting Chicago.
My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Downtown Riverwalk was absolutely delightful. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Millennium Park, the scenic Riverwalk, the riverboat tour deck, and plenty of dining options along with convenient grocery stores. I was especially impressed by how close the nearby train station is; taking the train to O'Hare Airport only cost $3, making travel hassle-free. The staff were consistently polite, helpful, and professional throughout my visit. From check-in to checkout, every interaction felt warm and efficient. This hotel combines comfort, convenience, and excellent service in a way that’s hard to beat. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Chicago and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
This hotel is fantastic—my favorite part was the view from the window, with the lake on one side and stunning sunsets on the other. It’s not right in the heart of downtown Chicago, but it’s super close to Chinatown and the central business district, making everything easily accessible. There’s a Starbucks, Haidilao, and a supermarket just steps away, so convenience is top-notch. The nearby subway station makes commuting effortless, and getting to the airport is a breeze. The only downside? Prices skyrocket during events like the marathon—up to $3,500 per night! That’s definitely steep, but if you’re visiting outside peak times, the value is solid. Overall, this place offers great comfort, excellent location, and unforgettable views—definitely a standout choice for travelers.
Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Chicago Central Loop was a fantastic experience. The room size is just right—not too small, not overly large—perfect for a comfortable stay. Cleanliness and facilities were top-notch; the bed was incredibly cozy, and everything from the bathroom to the amenities felt fresh and well-maintained. What really stood out was the location: right across from a popular chain deep-dish pizza spot—perfect for a quick bite. The train station is just a short walk away, and major attractions like the Art Institute and Millennium Park are both within a 10-minute stroll. I especially enjoyed walking along the riverwalk, enjoying the views while heading toward Magnificent Mile for some shopping. It’s rare to find such convenience combined with comfort and great value. This hotel is definitely a highlight of my trip to Chicago.
Staying at the JW Marriott Chicago was an absolute highlight of my trip to the city. From the moment I walked in, the elegant ambiance and modern design set the tone for a truly memorable experience. The rooms are immaculately clean—every corner, every surface, spotless. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom felt like a spa with top-notch fixtures and thoughtful touches. Everything is brand new and well-maintained, which really adds to the luxury feel. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything I needed, from local recommendations to transportation arrangements. Location-wise, it's super convenient; just a short walk to downtown attractions and public transit stops. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this hotel delivers exceptional value. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s an experience. I’ll definitely book here again next time I’m in Chicago.
Staying at Waldorf Astoria Chicago was an absolute delight from start to finish. The suite featured a beautiful fireplace, and the front desk staff kindly reminded us about it—plus, a professional came to light it for us, which added such a cozy, luxurious touch. The room itself is spacious and incredibly comfortable, making it feel like a true retreat in the heart of downtown Chicago. Being just steps away from Michigan Avenue’s luxury shopping district is a major plus—everything you’d want is right outside the door, from high-end boutiques to great dining options. Public transit access is also excellent. Every staff member we interacted with went above and beyond with genuine warmth and attention to detail. It’s rare to find such exceptional service combined with elegance and convenience. I’d absolutely stay here again—and recommend it without hesitation.
Staying at Park Hyatt Chicago was an absolute delight. The room was spacious and impeccably designed, with brand-new amenities that made the experience feel luxurious and modern. The bed was incredibly comfortable—woke up feeling refreshed every morning. The bathroom was well thought out with a great shower system and smart dry-wet separation. I loved how central the location was; it's just a short walk to the train station, making downtown access super easy. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, so you never run out of things to do. It’s not just about the comfort—it’s the attention to detail, the quiet elegance, and the overall vibe that makes this hotel stand out. Definitely worth every penny.
Staying at Viceroy Chicago for two nights was an absolute delight. The room size is impressive for a city hotel—spacious and well-designed, offering a comfortable retreat after a busy day of exploring. Located just steps from Michigan Avenue, everything you’d want is within walking distance: shopping, dining, and the iconic Millennium Park are literally around the corner. The nearby museums are also easy to access, making it perfect for travelers who love culture and convenience. The staff went above and beyond with warm, genuine service—always helpful and attentive without being intrusive. From the moment I arrived to the time I checked out, every detail felt thoughtfully curated. This place strikes the perfect balance between luxury, location, and comfort. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Chicago.
Staying at the Four Seasons Chicago was an absolutely wonderful experience. The location is perfect—just a short walk from downtown attractions and public transit, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The room was immaculate, spacious, and offered stunning views of the skyline. The staff went above and beyond with their attention to detail and genuine hospitality. One minor note: on the night we stayed, there was quite a strong wind outside, which caused some creaking sounds from the furniture and doors. While noticeable, it didn’t detract from the overall luxury or comfort. Everything else was top-notch—from the bedding to the thoughtful amenities. This is definitely a hotel that delivers on every level, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago.
The Langham Chicago is perfectly located—right across from Trump Tower, with Millennium Park, the Magnificent Mile, riverboat docks, and a wide array of restaurants all within easy walking distance. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We booked two rooms—one had weak heating, making it slightly chilly; the other had a leaking toilet and water pooling in the shower area upon arrival. However, these were minor issues compared to the overall experience. The hotel’s elegant ambiance, high-quality furnishings, and attention to detail truly stand out. Despite the small setbacks, the location, service, and general luxury make this a top choice for future stays.
The Peninsula Chicago truly lives up to its reputation as one of the finest hotels I've ever stayed at. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional—especially Jenny at the front desk, who made me feel welcome and well taken care of. I’ll admit, I usually avoid U.S. hotels because they often don’t match the standard of those in other parts of the world. But this stay completely changed my perspective. The attention to detail, the luxurious ambiance, and the level of service were on par with The Peninsula in Bangkok or Shanghai, and even surpassed the Bellagio in Shanghai in many ways. It’s rare to find a hotel in the U.S. that delivers such a high-end experience consistently. If you're looking for a memorable stay in Chicago, this is the place. A flawless experience from start to finish.
