While not as extensive as the main lobby buffet, the offerings were refined, delicious, and served in a quiet, peaceful setting—perfect for families with little ones. The staff at the lounge went above and beyond to care for our children, making us feel truly at home. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk from SKP and China World Trade Center, with dining, shopping, and entertainment all within easy reach. Public transport access is also convenient. One minor note: room soundproofing could be improved—the hallway and neighboring rooms are quite audible. But that’s a small trade-off for such a high-quality stay overall. This hotel delivers luxury, comfort, and excellent service. We’ll definitely be back.

Sure, the room is more compact compared to other luxury hotels, but the view of the Liangma River from the window makes every moment feel special—so serene, so picturesque, I can’t help but linger by the window. The highlight? The lounge’s afternoon tea and dinner. The food is exceptional—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and far beyond what you’d expect at many five-star properties. On New Year’s Day, I was delighted to see service staff Feng Xiangchao again. He remembered my preference for warm dishes and kindly heated up the seafood before serving—such thoughtful attention to detail. The next day, another team member, He Xu, took time to recommend the best desserts and gently reminded parents to watch the kids—small things that show how genuinely care about guests’ comfort. During dinner, I met a couple with their child, who shared they also make it a habit to visit a luxury hotel every weekend. After trying several places, they keep coming back to Kempinski—not just for the food or rooms, but because of the warmth, the genuine hospitality, and that sense of home. My dedicated concierge, Willow, was incredibly thoughtful: she not only gave a detailed walkthrough of the room amenities but also arranged a beautiful birthday cake just for me. The entire check-in process was smooth and efficient, yet still warm and personal. Every interaction felt genuine and tailored, creating the perfect atmosphere for such a meaningful occasion. The front desk agent, Miss Sun Yan, was incredibly efficient and professional—check-in was quick and smooth, and she patiently answered all my questions with a warm smile. I especially appreciated her help during New Year's Eve for securing a great spot to enjoy the first-floor party; it made the celebration even more memorable. I also want to commend the housekeeping staff on the 16th floor, particularly Mr. Fan, who consistently maintained an immaculate environment. His attention to detail—like straightening misplaced items and ensuring every corner was spotless—made the entire floor feel fresh and welcoming. I initially planned to stay just one night, but the level of care and comfort convinced me to extend my booking. It’s rare to find such thoughtful hospitality in a luxury hotel, and this experience has definitely earned a repeat visit. Highly recommended.
