Staying at Banyan Tree Tianjin Riverside was an absolute delight! While the 'Xuan Ying Photography Experience' wasn't available during our visit, everything else more than made up for it. The complimentary minibar was fantastic—well-stocked with quality drinks and snacks, a real highlight. We used the 90% discount at Baiyun Chinese Restaurant, and while the food was solid and traditional, it delivered exactly what we expected. The pool area is beautifully designed and well-maintained, with excellent facilities that make it perfect for relaxing. Cleanliness was top-notch throughout—no issues at all. But the real showstopper? The view of the Ferris wheel at night—it’s breathtaking. The lights sparkle across the river, creating a romantic and unforgettable atmosphere. And the service? Outstanding. Manager Tian Bing was especially attentive and welcoming, going out of his way to ensure our stay was comfortable. From start to finish, this place exceeded expectations. Coming to Tianjin for two main reasons: catching some local xiangsheng comedy and checking out the famous Xibei Jiao breakfast street — both lived up to expectations, with amazing performances and delicious food. The hotel is located right in the bustling Aqua City area, surrounded by vibrant street life and authentic city energy. The staff went above and beyond — especially Manager Xiao Meng at reception, who gave us great tips on photo spots and even helped us explore Jin Street, including the fun tradition of stepping on copper coins. Our room was upgraded without any extra cost, and it’s spacious, bright, and beautifully lit. Everything about this stay felt genuine and thoughtful. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Tianjin — I’d definitely come back.

Even though it's in a commercial building, there’s a dedicated elevator that requires a keycard to access your floor, which gives peace of mind regarding privacy and security. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, and staff were attentive and friendly—any request was handled promptly. We drove ourselves, and the hotel offers free parking on-site, which is a huge plus. Overall, this stay was flawless—great value, excellent service, and a convenient base for exploring Tianjin. Definitely coming back!

I stayed in an upgraded room with a window, which was spacious and very comfortable. The bed was big and cozy, perfect for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom features a smart dry-wet separation design, and cleanliness throughout the room was excellent. One of the pillows was filled with something similar to buckwheat husk — surprisingly supportive and great for comfort.
