The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with friendly staff and excellent value for money. Whether you're a student, visiting campus, or just working nearby, this location is ideal. It's also within easy reach of public transit, making it simple to get into downtown Wuhan. A solid, no-frills option that delivers exactly what you'd expect from a reliable chain.

The Gong'an mantou (stuffed flatbread) was so good I bought two servings—definitely a highlight of my trip. Best of all, the subway entrance is literally at the front door, making it super easy to get around Wuhan without hassle. While the room is on the smaller side, it's clean, well-maintained, and perfectly comfortable for a short stay. For the location, price point (around $160–$170 USD), and everything else included, this is an excellent value. She also recommended the afternoon tea service featuring homemade pastries, fresh fruit platters, and beverages—such a delightful touch. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk from Yellow Crane Tower and Yangtze River Bridge, perfect for sightseeing without wasting time on transit. My only small suggestion would be adding EV charging stations. Overall, this is a top-tier stay with excellent value. Definitely coming back next time I’m in Wuhan!

LuoJia Hills Hotel

We visited Wuhan during New Year’s and had friends from Hefei staying with us. Since we wanted to be close to Wuhan University, we chose the newly opened LuoJia Hills Hotel East Lake Branch. We booked a lake-view room, and both my partner and I were thoroughly impressed. The entire wall of the room is glass, offering an amazing view of East Lake—nearly 80% of the window area is dedicated to the scenic outlook. The room itself was well-furnished, modern, and clean, making for a very pleasant stay. Later on, our itinerary changed and we needed to adjust our booking. The reservation team responded quickly, communicated proactively, and even asked if we needed any additional assistance. Their professionalism and warm service truly stood out.
