However, I actually prefer entering through the Wenhui East Gate, which is faster and more convenient. Once inside, a quick right turn leads you directly to Yueyuan Canteen—perfect for grabbing a meal without having to go far. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with friendly staff and excellent value for money. Whether you're a student, visiting campus, or just working nearby, this location is ideal. It's also within easy reach of public transit, making it simple to get into downtown Wuhan. A solid, no-frills option that delivers exactly what you'd expect from a reliable chain.

Best of all, the subway entrance is literally at the front door, making it super easy to get around Wuhan without hassle. While the room is on the smaller side, it's clean, well-maintained, and perfectly comfortable for a short stay. For the location, price point (around $160–$170 USD), and everything else included, this is an excellent value. If you're visiting Wuhan and want a central, convenient base with amazing food nearby, this hotel is a top pick.

When we ordered takeout and realized we didn’t have chopsticks, I called the front desk and within minutes, they sent up both chopsticks and spoons—such a thoughtful touch! We were also given two room keys, which made things so much easier, especially for families or groups. Upon arrival, the air conditioning was already on, so we stepped into a cool, welcoming room right away. Even the tea bags were a nice surprise—they were from Cha Yan Yue Se, adding a unique local flair. It’s clear this hotel pays attention to details and truly values guest comfort. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Wuhan.

One major plus: there’s on-site parking right at the entrance, which is super convenient for those driving. However, if you're arriving by car, don’t just type in the hotel name directly into your GPS—doing so will lead you down a narrow alleyway that’s tricky to navigate. Instead, aim for the hotel entrance from Zhangzhidong Avenue to avoid confusion. Also worth noting: not all rooms have river views. I booked a non-riverside room on my first day, but after upgrading and requesting a riverside view for my second night, the view was absolutely worth it. So definitely specify ‘riverside view’ when booking. Overall, the hotel delivers excellent value with its location, service, and comfort—highly recommend for travelers visiting Wuhan.

Stayed for one night on October 19, 2025 — hands down the most delightful surprise of my entire trip to Wuhan. I checked out from my previous hotel around noon and took a bus directly here. To my delight, I was able to check in right away upon arrival—no waiting, no hassle. I entered through the restaurant entrance, where a very friendly staff member warmly guided me to the front desk. Later, I noticed there’s actually another main entrance just ahead that bypasses the dining area—much more convenient if you're arriving with luggage. Because I arrived early, I got incredibly lucky: the front desk agent upgraded me to a 10th-floor room with a stunning view of the Yellow Crane Tower—absolutely worth every penny! At night, when the lights came on, the iconic red tower lit up against the silver silhouette of the surrounding buildings, creating a breathtaking scene right from my window. No need to go out for perfect photos—just open the curtains and snap away. Even better? The room came equipped with a projector that connected seamlessly to my phone—perfect for streaming videos from Bilibili. I spent the whole day after breakfast lounging in bed, curtains drawn, watching shows until 12:40 PM—pure bliss. And the breakfast? Absolutely outstanding. A hearty bowl of spicy beef noodle soup with big chunks of tender beef, fresh honeydew melon cut into generous slices, and two standout treats: a soft, fragrant date cake and an enormous, generously filled cream puff bursting with filling. Every bite was memorable. This place is seriously underrated. If you’re visiting Wuhan, especially during peak season, book this hotel—and specifically request a view of the Yellow Crane Tower. It’s not just a stay; it’s an experience. High on comfort, value, and charm.
