The hotel is immaculate and beautifully designed, with an unbeatable location just steps away from LFC. What truly stood out was the front desk staff member who happened to be from Hong Kong—when they noticed we didn’t speak Korean, they went above and beyond to assist with check-in, patiently guiding us through the process. It’s rare to feel such genuine care while traveling far from home. I really wanted to thank them in person, but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to see them again. Finding a familiar face in a foreign city made all the difference—it felt like a small but meaningful connection. A heartfelt thanks to that kind soul for making our stay so much more personal and welcoming.

We’re both light sleepers, so we intentionally booked a two-bedroom suite for this trip—and it was absolutely the right choice. The rooms were spacious, incredibly clean, and so quiet that we slept like babies. The front desk staff went above and beyond—they helped us call a taxi and even gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants. It made our stay stress-free and super enjoyable. The room cleaning and amenities were top-notch—always fresh, well-stocked, and meticulously maintained. Every detail reflects genuine care and attention. This experience exceeded all expectations. Located right in the heart of Hongdae’s bustling district, you’re surrounded by trendy restaurants, cozy bars, unique boutiques, and endless street energy—perfect for night owls and food lovers alike. The design is sleek and modern, with a stylish lobby on the 21st floor featuring self-check-in and check-out, plus smart lockers for luggage. I especially loved the rooftop pool on the 22nd floor—open only in summer, but what a treat to enjoy it under the sun or during golden hour. The room was spacious, chic, and thoughtfully equipped, including a welcome drink and snacks—small touches that made the stay feel special. With its prime location, cool aesthetic, and excellent value, this hotel offers more than just a place to sleep. It’s an experience. Definitely coming back.

The room itself is surprisingly spacious with a comfortable bed and clean, well-thought-out layout. It’s perfect for solo travelers, students, or budget-conscious explorers who value both comfort and practicality. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hassle-free stay in a vibrant neighborhood.
WD Hotel
WD Hotel is incredibly clean—daily housekeeping makes a big difference. I didn’t get any photos of the room, but the space is generous with two desks, good natural light from the windows, and a layout that feels open and comfortable. It’s a bit farther from popular spots like Myeongdong and Hongdae—about 30 minutes by subway—but that’s totally manageable since the hotel sits right next to the subway station and a CU convenience store. You’re never far from what you need. Across the street is an old-school fish cake and rice cake shop—super tasty and worth a visit if you're craving something authentic. The location is quiet, which is perfect if you prefer a more peaceful stay away from crowds. Plus, the value-for-money factor is strong. If you want roominess and a calm vibe, this place is a great choice. The nearest station is Sinlim on Line 2—both exits 5 and 6 are accessible, and exit 5 has a moving walkway, making it easier with luggage. One small note: toothbrush and toothpaste aren’t provided, but they’re super affordable—around 1,000 KRW (roughly HK$5) gets you a full set of two brushes and toothpaste. Not a big deal at all. Overall, a solid, well-thought-out stay with excellent cleanliness and convenience—definitely would return.
OPPA Hostel Sinchon-Hongdae
The host is incredibly friendly and speaks fluent Chinese, English, and Japanese—no language barrier at all! The room was spotless and well-maintained, making the stay super comfortable. Right outside the door is Sinchon Square, and there's a fantastic local restaurant nearby known for its delicious potato stew with beef—so good, you'll want to come back just for the food. The location is perfect: literally steps away from the subway station, so getting around to Hongdae, Myeongdong, or other areas is super convenient. With great service, cleanliness, and unbeatable value, this hostel deserves every bit of its 10/10 rating. I’ll definitely be returning if I ever come back to Seoul!
Dongjak (Daebangdong) Hyu
I stayed here during Chuseok and was pleasantly surprised. Compared to the nearby motels, this place stands out as a much better option—especially if you're staying in Dongjak or Daebangdong area. The rooms have great potential; with a bit more upkeep, it could easily be a solid 4-star hotel. It's just a short walk from the subway station, making commuting super convenient. There are plenty of dining options around, so whether you're hanging out with friends or enjoying a quiet evening with your partner, this is the perfect spot to unwind. A truly relaxing and comfortable stay that feels like your own personal retreat.

Staying at L3 Guest House was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is fantastic—quiet yet convenient, with easy access to subway lines and major attractions. What stood out most was how responsive the staff were through multiple contact channels; any questions or requests were handled quickly and professionally. My roommate was friendly and considerate, making the stay feel comfortable and welcoming. I’ll admit, I was initially worried about the bathroom cleanliness, but I couldn’t have been more wrong—the space was spotless, meticulously cleaned daily with no traces of grime or water stains. The complimentary breakfast items were a real highlight: fresh croissants and snacks that tasted great. The ciabatta bread provided on the first two mornings was absolutely delicious—light, airy, and perfect with coffee. It’s a bit disappointing that it switched to doughnuts on the final day, though they were still tasty. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations in every way—cleanliness, service, value, and atmosphere. I’d definitely book again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.
