Staying right across from Hongdae Station makes transportation incredibly convenient—trains, buses, and taxis are all just steps away. It's perfectly located in Yeonnam-dong, just steps away from great cafes, restaurants, and local vibes. Easy access to public transit makes exploring Seoul a breeze. OPPA Hostel Sinchon-Hongdae
The host is incredibly friendly and speaks fluent Chinese, English, and Japanese—no language barrier at all! The room was spotless and well-maintained, making the stay super comfortable. Right outside the door is Sinchon Square, and there's a fantastic local restaurant nearby known for its delicious potato stew with beef—so good, you'll want to come back just for the food. The location is perfect: literally steps away from the subway station, so getting around to Hongdae, Myeongdong, or other areas is super convenient. With great service, cleanliness, and unbeatable value, this hostel deserves every bit of its 10/10 rating. I’ll definitely be returning if I ever come back to Seoul!

I had an amazing stay at this cozy guesthouse! The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept like a baby all night. Great touch having both Korean and English signage around, making it super welcoming for international travelers. The kitchenette is well-equipped with a microwave, toaster, kettle, and water dispenser—perfect for brewing coffee or whipping up a quick meal. It felt just like being at home, but with a much better vibe. Plus, the location is fantastic—close to subway lines and walking distance to many attractions. I’d definitely come back again. The breakfast options are simple but thoughtful: milk, orange juice, cereal, and eggs are provided for self-service—perfect for a quick morning start. While the entrance from level 1 gives off an old-school vibe, the inside of the house is clean, well-maintained, and feels cozy. Overall, it’s a solid choice for travelers who value convenience, comfort, and a good balance between price and quality in a vibrant neighborhood.

Fairmont Ambassador Seoul
The hotel is immaculate and beautifully designed, with an unbeatable location just steps away from LFC. What truly stood out was the front desk staff member who happened to be from Hong Kong—when they noticed we didn’t speak Korean, they went above and beyond to assist with check-in, patiently guiding us through the process. It’s rare to feel such genuine care while traveling far from home. I really wanted to thank them in person, but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to see them again. Finding a familiar face in a foreign city made all the difference—it felt like a small but meaningful connection. A heartfelt thanks to that kind soul for making our stay so much more personal and welcoming.
Dongjak (Daebangdong) Hyu
I stayed here during Chuseok and was pleasantly surprised. Compared to the nearby motels, this place stands out as a much better option—especially if you're staying in Dongjak or Daebangdong area. The rooms have great potential; with a bit more upkeep, it could easily be a solid 4-star hotel. It's just a short walk from the subway station, making commuting super convenient. There are plenty of dining options around, so whether you're hanging out with friends or enjoying a quiet evening with your partner, this is the perfect spot to unwind. A truly relaxing and comfortable stay that feels like your own personal retreat.
