We’re both light sleepers, so we intentionally booked a two-bedroom suite for this trip—and it was absolutely the right choice. The rooms were spacious, incredibly clean, and so quiet that we slept like babies. The front desk staff went above and beyond—they helped us call a taxi and even gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants. It made our stay stress-free and super enjoyable. I always book this place whenever I visit Seoul because my friend lives in Hongdae and I need a convenient spot close to her. After checking out many other guesthouses, this one stands out as the perfect choice—great location, clean rooms, and a welcoming vibe. I've stayed in both the new and old buildings, and both experiences were excellent. The staff is friendly, and getting around by subway is super easy. It's consistently reliable and offers amazing value for money. I truly hope they keep up the great work—I’ll definitely be back on my next trip!

The breakfast options are simple but thoughtful: milk, orange juice, cereal, and eggs are provided for self-service—perfect for a quick morning start. While the entrance from level 1 gives off an old-school vibe, the inside of the house is clean, well-maintained, and feels cozy. Overall, it’s a solid choice for travelers who value convenience, comfort, and a good balance between price and quality in a vibrant neighborhood.

It’s perfect if you’re looking to explore the area on foot. However, the facilities are definitely dated and feel a bit makeshift. The bedding wasn’t very clean—it reminded me of my college dorm days—and the shared rooms mean you’re really close to your fellow travelers (literally!). That said, the common lounge and kitchen are spacious and great for meeting other guests or cooking up a quick meal. The price felt a bit steep for what you get, especially considering the condition of the rooms. Still, if you’re after convenience and a social vibe, it’s worth a try. And don’t miss the amazing grilled eel restaurant nearby—highly recommended!

The hotel is immaculate and beautifully designed, with an unbeatable location just steps away from LFC. What truly stood out was the front desk staff member who happened to be from Hong Kong—when they noticed we didn’t speak Korean, they went above and beyond to assist with check-in, patiently guiding us through the process. It’s rare to feel such genuine care while traveling far from home. I really wanted to thank them in person, but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to see them again. Finding a familiar face in a foreign city made all the difference—it felt like a small but meaningful connection. A heartfelt thanks to that kind soul for making our stay so much more personal and welcoming.

I stayed here during Chuseok and was pleasantly surprised. Compared to the nearby motels, this place stands out as a much better option—especially if you're staying in Dongjak or Daebangdong area. The rooms have great potential; with a bit more upkeep, it could easily be a solid 4-star hotel. It's just a short walk from the subway station, making commuting super convenient. There are plenty of dining options around, so whether you're hanging out with friends or enjoying a quiet evening with your partner, this is the perfect spot to unwind. A truly relaxing and comfortable stay that feels like your own personal retreat.

Staying at L3 Guest House was an absolute delight from start to finish. The location is fantastic—quiet yet convenient, with easy access to subway lines and major attractions. What stood out most was how responsive the staff were through multiple contact channels; any questions or requests were handled quickly and professionally. My roommate was friendly and considerate, making the stay feel comfortable and welcoming. I’ll admit, I was initially worried about the bathroom cleanliness, but I couldn’t have been more wrong—the space was spotless, meticulously cleaned daily with no traces of grime or water stains. The complimentary breakfast items were a real highlight: fresh croissants and snacks that tasted great. The ciabatta bread provided on the first two mornings was absolutely delicious—light, airy, and perfect with coffee. It’s a bit disappointing that it switched to doughnuts on the final day, though they were still tasty.
