After New Year’s, I was upgraded to a lake-view room, which came with welcome fruit and a complimentary coffee voucher—such a thoughtful touch that made me feel right at home. The breakfast spread was outstanding: diverse, fresh, and delicious. Every detail, from the ambiance to the service, felt curated for comfort and convenience. If I ever return to Xiamen, this will be my first choice. A truly memorable experience with excellent value.

Check-in was a bit stressful at first, but the on-duty manager handled everything with great empathy and professionalism. After a calm conversation, the issue was resolved smoothly—and they even surprised me with afternoon tea, evening entertainment, and a bottle of wine. The next day’s airport transfer was excellent too; driver Andy was friendly, courteous, and helped carry my luggage without being asked. We had a pleasant chat throughout the ride. A few suggestions for improvement: the afternoon tea selection was limited, and the fruit—especially the watermelon—wasn’t very fresh. Dinner options were also quite narrow. The room stayed chilly despite running the heater all night—temperature barely reached 15°C, so adding a heating option would be helpful. Also, breakfast was missing some items, and they weren’t replenished promptly. That said, the overall experience was still positive. The staff responded quickly to feedback, and the views from the room were stunning—especially sunrise in the morning. One small disappointment: no capsule or instant coffee available, which is common even in budget hotels. Adding that would make the stay much more convenient for guests who rely on coffee.

Located in a vibrant area with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, it’s also just steps away from a beautiful lakeside park—ideal for morning walks or a quick workout. The gym and pool are open late, which is great for travelers with varied schedules. Overall, this was an outstanding stay with fantastic value. I’ll definitely return.

Breakfast featured local favorites like satay noodles, a nice touch that gave me a taste of authentic Xiamen flavor. I also appreciated the night-shift staff who helped me book my ferry ticket to Gulangyu directly through the app—so helpful when you're on the move.
