The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. Breakfast included both Chinese and Western options, and the quality was consistently good. What really stood out was the exceptional service. Teresa at reception was friendly, efficient, and always willing to help—she even assisted with check-in extensions seamlessly. Special mention goes to Mr. Gan, the staff member who kindly guided us through the area when we were initially lost. His warm hospitality made a big difference and truly enhanced our experience. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the bustling Jianghan Road Walking Street, with everything from local street food to shopping and attractions just steps away. I loved how easy it was to get around, especially using the nearby metro. The hotel itself is spotless, modern, and well-maintained, with a clean, welcoming vibe throughout. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—always smiling, ready to answer questions, and even gave me some great recommendations for nearby eats. Speaking of food, I highly recommend trying Xia’s Hot Pot, especially their Lu’s Shrimp—it’s rich, flavorful, and unforgettable. Don’t miss the Little House Braised Pork Wraps either—they’re crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and perfect as a snack or light meal. And if you’re looking for something refreshing, the Zhen Cha House drinks are a must-try; they’re smooth, aromatic, and just right after a long day of exploring. Stayed at TULIP LODJ (Wuhan Jianghan Road Wusheng Road Subway Station) and overall, the room felt decent with modern decor and well-maintained amenities. However, a few issues did affect my comfort during the night. The air conditioning had to be set to maximum heat and fan speed—otherwise, it would automatically switch to cooling mode in the middle of the night, dropping the temperature to around 14°C, which was quite chilly. At 7 AM, I got a sudden robot delivery alert when an order was mistakenly sent to my room. Also, the LED strip behind the bed in my upper-floor room wouldn’t turn off initially—it stayed on all night, making it hard to fall asleep. A technician came later to reset the circuit and fixed it. The elevator is quite small; when checking out, I waited over 15 minutes just to squeeze in, so eventually had to take my luggage down via the emergency staircase. Even though check-out is officially at 2 PM, staff arrived at 1:30 PM knocking on the door to confirm departure, then came back twice more between 1:30 and 2 PM—felt a bit rushed and possibly due to internal communication mix-up. Despite these hiccups, the hotel’s location near Jianghan Road Metro Station makes exploring the city super convenient. It’s still a solid choice if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, centrally located stay with good value.

Qingneng Qingjiang Hotel (Wuhan Yellow Crane Tower Tanhualin)

I stayed at Qingneng Qingjiang Hotel for one night and was genuinely impressed. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from Yellow Crane Tower, Hubei Alley, and the Yangtze River Bridge. I loved waking up to the stunning view of the Yellow Crane Tower illuminated at night—it’s such a romantic and memorable touch. The room was spotlessly clean, with all amenities you’d expect, including a helpful robot assistant that added a nice modern flair without being overwhelming. Staff were incredibly friendly and proactive—always checking in, offering assistance, and even accommodating my request for a late check-out until 3 PM, which made my travel plans so much easier. The lobby lounge offers free hot drinks, including coffee and tea, plus instant access to hot water—perfect for early mornings. Everything about this stay felt thoughtfully designed, from the convenience of the location to the thoughtful service. It’s a great value for the quality, and I’ll definitely return if I come back to Wuhan.

Holiday Inn Wuhan Riverside

Our stay at Holiday Inn Wuhan Riverside was absolutely unforgettable. The hotel arranged a stunning riverside room with panoramic views of the Yangtze River—perfect for relaxing or just taking in the scenery. What truly made our trip special was that they noticed our 15th wedding anniversary and surprised us with a thoughtful decoration, including balloons and a heartfelt note. It was such a sweet gesture that brought tears to my eyes. The on-site restaurant is beautifully designed, offering a great atmosphere with sweeping views of the river. The menu has a wide variety of dishes, all well-prepared and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive throughout. The only minor downside? The washing machine isn’t a combo washer-dryer, but honestly, it’s a tiny detail in an otherwise excellent experience. Overall, this was a top-tier stay—highly recommend for couples, families, or anyone looking for comfort, charm, and a touch of luxury along the river.

Haoyi Hotel

This hotel is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from Hanzheng Street Metro Station and right next to Henglong Plaza, making shopping and exploring super easy. I’ve stayed here multiple times during my visits to Wuhan, and each time it’s been a great experience. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and helpful. One of my favorite little touches? The free sweet potatoes available downstairs—warm, delicious, and such a thoughtful bonus. It’s these small details that make this place stand out. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Wuhan; I’ll definitely be back and will surely bring friends along.
