Walked into the hotel and was immediately impressed—far more luxurious than the photos suggested. Although I booked through a platform, the front desk staff, Miao Yuting and Qian Haorui, proactively checked if an upgrade was possible and happily confirmed one for me. Stepping into the upgraded room felt like entering a presidential suite—spacious to the point of getting lost in the corners, with panoramic views of the Olympic Center that were absolutely stunning. The room itself was immaculate, featuring smart curtains, a large bathtub, and two bathrooms—everything you could want. I also received complimentary afternoon tea access on the first floor, which I enjoyed after checking out the gym and pool, both of which were top-notch and well-maintained. Breakfast at the 5th floor was exceptional—diverse, delicious, and a real highlight. Honestly, the value for money was outstanding. If I ever return to Nanjing, this will be my go-to choice.

This was hands down the best hotel experience of my entire trip to Nanjing! From the moment I checked in, the front desk staff offered a room upgrade—according to them, five levels up, straight to the top-tier room. And honestly, it totally lived up to the hype 🤣. The moment I stepped into the room, I knew this was special. Every little detail screamed thoughtfulness and comfort. ✨ There’s a dedicated vanity area with a full-length mirror—something every woman will appreciate when getting ready. No more rushing to the bathroom for a quick touch-up! ✨ The bathroom is spacious enough for someone 1.8m tall to stretch out in the bathtub. Even better—they provided disposable bath bags so you can enjoy a relaxing soak without worrying about hygiene. ✨ The heated towel rail is a game-changer. I tossed in a few small clothes after a shower, and by morning, they were completely dry. The robe was luxuriously soft too. ✨ The room itself is generously sized, and the fridge isn’t just for show—there are drinks inside that I actually drank (and enjoyed!). The sofa is incredibly comfy; I spent a whole morning lounging there soaking in the sunlight. ✨ They even included two pairs of earplugs—perfect for blocking out noise and ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. That kind of care really stands out. Only minor note: the tissue box count was a bit low—only one near the balcony-side bed. When washing up or applying makeup, I had to walk across the room to grab one. It’d be great if another tissue holder could be placed on the other side of the room for convenience. Location-wise, it’s fantastic—super close to major attractions, and if you’re driving, free parking with plenty of space. Overall, an exceptional stay with incredible value. The floor-to-ceiling windows opened up to a lush central lawn, and on that particular day, a couple was filming their wedding photos there—adding a magical touch to the already picturesque view. Breakfast was a highlight: spacious dining area with a wide variety of fresh options. The freshly cooked congee stood out—served with care by a passionate chef who took time to explain each ingredient. Don’t miss it! Nanjing Grand Hotel

Staying at Nanjing Grand Hotel was an absolute delight from start to finish. Though it's a well-established five-star property, the rooms feel fresh and timeless—elegant without being flashy, perfectly reflecting the city’s refined character. The room itself was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything I needed, from plush bedding to modern amenities. What truly stood out, though, was the service. Every staff member—from check-in to housekeeping to breakfast attendants—was warm, professional, and attentive. The breakfast spread was impressive: diverse, freshly prepared, and delicious. It’s rare to find such consistent quality across all aspects of a stay. If I’m ever back in Nanjing, this will be my first choice again. A truly memorable experience.
