Somerset Palace Seoul
The Somerset Palace Seoul completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the subway, making it easy to explore Seoul’s top attractions. The rooftop pool is a real highlight—perfect for relaxing with panoramic views of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering a comfortable and home-like atmosphere. It’s rare to find such a high-quality stay with such a great value. This was my sixth trip to Korea, and without a doubt, this is the most impressive hotel I've stayed at here. While it's a bit of a walk from the subway station, the bus stop is right outside the door—making access to the city incredibly convenient. The room was immaculate, with modern design and thoughtful touches that made it feel luxurious. The staff were warm and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. From the quiet ambiance to the excellent amenities, every detail felt intentional. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.
Arirang Hill Hotel Dongdaemun
Staying at Arirang Hill Hotel Dongdaemun was a fantastic experience. Located right outside Exit 4 of Seoul Subway Line 4, the hotel offers unbeatable convenience for getting around the city—everything from shopping districts to local eateries is just a short walk away. The area is vibrant and full of options, whether you're looking for trendy boutiques or authentic Korean food. Inside the hotel, everything is well-maintained: the front desk staff are friendly and helpful, and the room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable with excellent attention to detail. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work—every time I returned to my room, it felt freshly tidied up. With such a great location, reliable service, and a welcoming atmosphere, I’ll definitely be choosing this hotel again on my next trip to Seoul.
ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong(Newly renovated in 2025)
This was our first trip to Seoul, and we stayed at ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong with my son from July 30th to August 5th. We arrived late—after 2:30 a.m.—but check-in was quick and smooth thanks to the 24-hour front desk. Our room was on the 10th floor, compact but well-designed with two beds, a tea station, and all the essentials: soap, shower gel, shampoo, and fresh towels. The room was spotless, quiet, and cozy—the bedding felt brand new and super comfortable. The hotel itself is immaculate, peaceful, and very clean. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. What really stood out was the location—walking distance to major landmarks like Gyeongbokgung Palace, plus tons of restaurants, food courts, and shops nearby. Even though we spent most of our days out exploring, coming back to this hotel felt like a relaxing retreat. It’s perfectly priced for the quality, and I’d definitely recommend it. If you're visiting Seoul, don’t hesitate—this is a great choice.
Mayplace Hotel
This was my first stay at Mayplace Hotel, and I was genuinely impressed. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making the whole experience smooth and pleasant. While the nearest subway station is a bit of a walk away, it’s not a major issue considering how quiet and convenient the neighborhood is. Public transport access to major attractions is still good, and there are plenty of nearby dining and shopping options. Overall, the value for money is excellent, and I’d definitely come back. I’ve already recommended it to friends and family—this place truly stands out.
Mangrove Sinseol
I stayed at Mangrove Sinseol Hotel for a few days and was really impressed. The location is perfect—right next to the subway station, just a 15-minute ride to Seongsu and about 30 minutes to Hongdae. The airport bus 6002 stops right outside, making travel super convenient. There are plenty of nearby convenience stores like 7-Eleven, CU, OY, Mega, and Mammoth—no long lines even during peak hours. The building has a secure entry with a password lock, and the elevator requires your room keycard, which adds peace of mind. The shared kitchen is clean and well-maintained, and the rooftop terrace offers a great view—perfect for relaxing in the evening. Check-in and check-out are fully self-service, and the machine supports Simplified Chinese, which is a big plus for introverted travelers. The bathroom is on the smaller side, and housekeeping comes every six days, but that’s not an issue if you’re staying just a few days. Overall, it’s a quiet, safe, and well-designed place with excellent value. Highly recommend for solo travelers.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the room was spotlessly clean and neatly arranged—perfect for a relaxing stay. I felt completely at ease from the moment I walked in. Its central location near Dongdaemun makes it super convenient for shopping and exploring the city, especially with easy subway access. The comfort and value here are outstanding. I’ll definitely be coming back if I ever visit Seoul again!

Staying at Five Hotel Jongno was an absolute pleasure. The location is perfect—just a short walk from major attractions and public transit, making exploring Seoul super convenient. The hotel environment is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, with a modern yet cozy vibe. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—especially the guy at the counter, who had a great smile and made check-in feel personal. Daily room cleaning is a nice touch, keeping everything fresh and tidy throughout the stay. Two girls sharing a room felt just right—plenty of space, comfortable beds, and good lighting. Only thing to note: if you’re traveling with two large suitcases, it’s a bit tight to open both at once on the floor, but that’s a minor detail. Overall, this place offers excellent value and a memorable stay. Definitely coming back next time I visit Seoul.

I didn’t get many photos, but the actual place looks even better than the pictures online. If you're looking for a budget-friendly yet high-quality stay in central Seoul with easy subway access, this hotel is absolutely worth considering. A real hidden gem!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. But honestly, the top reason to stay here is the location. Right next to a metro station, you're just steps away from amazing local eateries, bustling streets, and everything the city has to offer. It’s such a convenient and vibrant area. If you’re looking for a cozy, well-maintained hostel with great service and unbeatable access, this is the place. Would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul.
Noble Hotel
Staying at Noble Hotel in Insadong was a delightful experience despite the building feeling a bit dated. The cleanliness was impressive—every corner felt fresh and well-maintained. The mattress was comfortable, not too soft or too firm, and the bathroom had no unpleasant odors, which is always a plus. What really stood out was the friendly front desk staff who upgraded us to a better room without any extra charge—such a nice surprise! The location is excellent: right next to the airport bus route 6011, making travel to and from the airport super convenient. Even though prices were higher during the holiday season, the overall value and comfort made it well worth it. If you're looking for a quiet, clean, and centrally located stay in Seoul with great service, this hotel is definitely worth considering.
W Mini Hotel - Hostel
This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I’m even more impressed than the first time! The value for money is outstanding—free bottled water, instant coffee, and hot water are all included, which makes early mornings so much easier. Check-in is super convenient with a self-service system: just find your name at the front desk and grab your key. Even though it says check-in starts at 5 PM, we were able to check in earlier without any issues. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout. Located just steps from the subway station, getting around Seoul is a breeze. Clean rooms, great amenities, and a fantastic location—it’s definitely one of my top picks for budget-friendly stays in the city. Highly recommended!
