We visited Wuhan during New Year’s and had friends from Hefei staying with us. Since we wanted to be close to Wuhan University, we chose the newly opened LuoJia Hills Hotel East Lake Branch. We booked a lake-view room, and both my partner and I were thoroughly impressed. The entire wall of the room is glass, offering an amazing view of East Lake—nearly 80% of the window area is dedicated to the scenic outlook. The room itself was well-furnished, modern, and clean, making for a very pleasant stay. Later on, our itinerary changed and we needed to adjust our booking. The reservation team responded quickly, communicated proactively, and even asked if we needed any additional assistance. Their professionalism and warm service truly stood out. It’s clear they care about guest experience. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, scenic stay near Wuhan University.

Located in Wuhan’s Wuchang District, the hotel is perfectly positioned near shopping centers and just a short distance from East Lake, making it easy to explore the city on foot or by public transit. One of the biggest perks? Free parking for guests with unlimited entry and exit—no stress at all. The lobby has a grand, modern vibe, and the room itself was spotless, well-organized, and featured brand-new disposable amenities. The mattress offered excellent support, and I slept like a baby—no back pain whatsoever. Dining-wise, the Golden Gate buffet on the 5th floor is a must-try. Their grilled durian is out of this world—rich, sweet, and perfectly cooked. Just note that you need to arrive before 10:00 AM or book via WeChat Official Account, pay at 10:30 AM, and pick up your voucher at the front desk. Entry starts at 11:00 AM, so timing works smoothly.
