Staying at InterContinental Qingdao was a delightful surprise! The front desk staff went above and beyond by upgrading me to a sea view room—though it wasn’t on the highest floor, the ocean views were still stunning and made the stay very enjoyable. The fitness center has well-maintained equipment, and although I didn’t get a chance to swim due to time constraints, the pool looked clean and inviting. It’s just a 5-minute walk to Haixin Plaza, making shopping and dining super convenient. I especially want to thank the friendly front desk agent who checked me in (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name) and Jennifer at check-out for her exceptional attention to detail—she even helped extend my checkout time without hassle. The service, comfort, and location all exceeded expectations. This is definitely a hotel I’d recommend and return to.

Just checked out from Grand Regency Hotel in Qingdao, and I have to say the entire experience was exceptional. The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Every staff member went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm without being overbearing. The dining options were outstanding, especially the seafood. Freshness was evident in every bite, truly tasting like it came straight from the ocean. The pool area is serene and well-maintained, and the fitness center has modern equipment—perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Located just steps away from public transit, getting around the city was a breeze. This hotel delivers on comfort, service, and value. If I’m ever back in Qingdao, this will be my first choice again. Location-wise, it’s perfectly situated in the heart of the city, right next to the bustling MIXC mall, with easy access to subway lines and well-organized parking assistance from the staff. The room was surprisingly spacious with a great sense of openness—so comfortable and relaxing! What stood out most was how close it was to popular attractions like the Beer Museum and Yinyu Lane. A short taxi ride or easy subway access made exploring the city super convenient. I was originally booked into another hotel that unexpectedly closed, but the platform kindly upgraded me to this one—what a delightful surprise! The staff were friendly, the place was spotless, and the value for money was outstanding. If you're visiting Qingdao, this is definitely a top choice. I’d happily stay here again.

This hotel truly lives up to its 'clean freak' reputation—the attention to hygiene is impressive, even the cups are sealed in plastic. The staff went above and beyond with warm, thoughtful service; I ended up wanting to stay put for the entire two days. My room had two windows, offering excellent natural light and airflow—so refreshing. I grabbed two Americano coffees from the lobby bar, and was pleasantly surprised by how rich and bold they were. Even though I arrived early, they managed to check me in ahead of schedule. Plus, my child was gifted a complimentary breakfast—such a sweet touch. This place feels like a hidden gem, and I’ll definitely be back.

The hotel is incredibly convenient—just a 100-meter walk from Exit A of Yan'an Third Road Metro Station, making it super easy to find. The lobby is spacious and bright, with festive Christmas decorations that add a warm, welcoming vibe. Staff are attentive and friendly, going out of their way to accommodate requests. The room itself is large, airy, and well-heated, so staying here during winter was absolutely comfortable—no chilly moments at all. Best of all, the rates are reasonable even during off-season, offering great value. I’d definitely stay here again on my next trip to Qingdao!

I've stayed at this hotel twice during previous business trips to Qingdao, and now that I've retired and moved here permanently, I decided to bring two families for New Year's celebration. We booked three rooms, with one additional room arranged over the phone—unexpectedly upgraded to a suite! My newlyweds niece and her husband were absolutely thrilled. The original plan was to enjoy the famous buffet, but unfortunately all tables were fully booked when we tried to reserve—proof of just how popular it is! When we reserved a private dining room on the third floor, only a large 6-person space remained. Shortly after, Xiao Wei (Tán Wěi) kindly informed me that a smaller room had opened up—another delightful surprise. Huge thanks to Xiao Wei for her proactive hospitality! And special recognition to Han Xin Zhu, who provided dedicated service throughout our stay. Her warm smile, genuine care, and attention to every detail truly reflect the hotel’s commitment to guest comfort. From the moment we stepped in, we felt welcomed like family. This was not just a comfortable stay—it was a genuinely relaxing and memorable experience. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to any out-of-town relatives or friends visiting Qingdao.
