Cascina Gaggioli

I planned a solo trip to Milan just to come back for pleasure—not for work—and avoid the usual chaos of the city center or standard suburban hotels. While those options are perfectly fine, I specifically wanted to wake up surrounded by greenery, breathing in the fresh air of the Milanese countryside, while still being reasonably close to public transport. By chance, I discovered this lovely and comfortable farmhouse, beautifully restored by the owners and equipped with all the comforts I needed. The room and bathroom were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, and the common areas showed great attention to detail. The spacious kitchen is available for guests to use during set hours—perfect for preparing meals when you want some independence. Breakfast was a real highlight: homemade cakes, freshly baked pastries, and other artisanal treats made me smile every morning. There’s no on-site restaurant, but there are plenty of authentic local eateries nearby, which I actually prefer—exploring regional cuisine is part of the adventure for me. Outside, the property feels like a true farm: lush greenery, quiet pathways, and a few friendly cats that roam freely but never intrude—just charming additions to the atmosphere. Public transport is within easy reach—the tram 24 terminus is just a short walk away, and both metro lines M1 and M2 are accessible by car in minutes. Most importantly, the hosts were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. In short, I couldn’t have hoped for a stay any better than this—and I wasn’t disappointed at all. Whether or not I return to Milan in the future, I already know this place will be near the top of my list.

Hotel Alessander

Staying at Hotel Alessander in Milan was an absolute delight. The room was spacious and flooded with natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. The mattress struck the perfect balance—firm enough for support but soft enough to feel cozy, making for a truly restful night's sleep. Hot water was consistent throughout the stay, and the toiletries were of excellent quality, leaving a pleasant impression. What stood out most was the front desk staff—they were incredibly helpful, friendly, and responsive to every request. From check-in to checkout, their service made the experience seamless and enjoyable. This hotel exceeded all my expectations, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Milan. A fantastic choice for comfort, style, and hospitality.

Starhotels Business Palace

Staying at this hotel felt like stepping into a piece of Milan’s history. The interior has a timeless elegance—clean, well-maintained, and full of character. What stood out most was the key: a large brass bell, which added a unique, nostalgic touch to the experience. Our family room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a separate bedroom featuring a single bed—perfect for kids or guests who prefer some privacy. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better: right next to the metro station, making it super easy to explore downtown Milan, shops, museums, and more. Convenient, charming, and great value—this is one stay I’d definitely recommend and return to.

La Maison del Capestrano

I stayed at La Maison del Capestrano for 10 days, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The loft is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and remained in excellent condition throughout my entire visit. The hostess was incredibly kind and attentive, and so was the entire staff—always ready to help with anything. The location is peaceful yet well-connected, with public transportation just a short walk away. Special mention goes to Sara—her professionalism, warmth, and genuine care made me feel truly at home. If you're planning a trip to Milan, this place is highly recommended. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and hospitality, and I’d definitely stay here again.

Staying at Quark Hotel Milano was an absolute delight! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the metro station, making it super easy to get around Milan. Even late at night, there are always shuttles available to take you to the city center, which is a huge plus. The ambiance is truly special—calm, stylish, and beautifully designed with a unique South-East Asian flair that stands out. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything you need. Rooms are spotless and well-maintained, with excellent cleanliness throughout. Corvetto Residence

I stayed for just one night and was really pleased with the experience. This is a residential-style property, so it's best evaluated accordingly. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with electric blinds for easy control. The bathroom was well-maintained and came with high-quality toiletries. I didn’t use the kitchen facilities, but it’s good to know they’re available. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Considering the price and comparing it to other options in Milan, this was an excellent value choice. For travelers looking for a quiet, convenient, and well-kept place to stay, this is definitely worth considering.

Hotel & Residence Quark Due Milano

I'm familiar with the Quark Due Hotel as I've stayed there several times for health-related reasons, mainly because it's conveniently close to the IEO hospital. Each visit has been positive—clean rooms, friendly staff, and a comfortable atmosphere. My last stay was in April 2022, and everything was great at the time. However, I recently passed by and found the hotel completely closed—locked with a chain, no sign, no notice anywhere indicating closure. It’s frustrating for guests who might be relying on this location, especially those needing nearby accommodations for medical appointments. A simple update or notice would go a long way. Hopefully, the platform can reflect this change so others aren’t misled.

Hotel Alga

Staying at Hotel Alga in Milan was an absolute delight. The staff went above and beyond with their kindness and warmth—always greeting guests with a smile, offering helpful tips about local spots, and making us feel right at home. The location is fantastic: just a short walk from the metro, putting all of Milan’s main attractions within easy reach. The room was clean, quiet, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed that made for a restful night's sleep. What really stood out was how personal and attentive the service felt—like staying at a friend’s place rather than a hotel. For travelers seeking a cozy, authentic Milanese experience without breaking the bank, this place is a perfect choice. I’d definitely stay here again.

Milano Canal Apartments

I stayed at Milano Canal Apartments in late November for a concert at Forum di Assago, drawn by its proximity to the venue and the positive reviews online. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t match the expectations. The Forum isn’t actually walkable without some courage—especially at night during winter. The area is poorly lit, located in an industrial zone, and very quiet after dark. More concerning was the fact that the property sits within a ZTL (restricted traffic zone), but no warning was given upon arrival. I later received a €101.47 fine for entering Via Della Chieda Rossa at 2:45 PM—something I had no idea about. While the host is kind and helpful, it would’ve been much better if she’d informed guests about the ZTL restriction and offered alternative access options. The location sounds convenient on paper, but without proper guidance, it can lead to unexpected issues. Overall, the apartment is decent, but the lack of clear communication about local regulations significantly impacts the experience.

Aiello Suites Executive

Our two-day stay in Milan was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is perfectly located—just a short walk from the city center and close to public transit, making it super convenient for exploring. The executive suite was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. The only minor downside was breakfast, which was included but consisted only of a coffee machine with pods—nothing fancy. That said, we were pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful little café just 20 meters away. It had excellent coffee, a cozy atmosphere, and great pastries—so we ended up enjoying our morning coffee there instead. Overall, the value for money was outstanding, and the location made everything so easy. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Milan.

The hotel is incredibly convenient and easy to reach—just a short walk from the green line M2 metro and the tram 3 terminal right at Duomo. The room was cozy, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. I felt truly at home from the moment I walked in. With its prime location and excellent value, I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Milan. It’s the perfect base for exploring the city without breaking the bank.
