Staying at Qianhou Hostel in Xiamen was an absolute delight from start to finish. The room is spacious and incredibly comfortable—big enough for four people, with a huge bed that made for a restful night’s sleep. Everything in the bathroom was thoughtfully provided: toothbrushes, shower caps, towels, and even excellent air conditioning. The cleanliness was outstanding—every surface was spotless, and all items were neatly arranged. The interior design really stood out: warm wooden furniture gave the space character, while built-in cabinets and a small chair added charm. A large mirror in the living area made it easy to freshen up, and the view of the sea from the window was pure magic. Waking up to sunrise every morning from a high floor was unforgettable—peaceful, quiet, and refreshing. The staff were exceptional—the two front desk ladies were friendly, approachable, and always eager to help. They patiently answered questions about local attractions and recommended great breakfast spots. Their hospitality made such a difference that we ended up extending our stay from two nights to seven! It’s also super convenient—just a 20-minute walk to the beach where we watched one of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve ever seen. This place offers incredible value and warmth. A perfect blend of cozy and elegant, with a surprisingly comfortable bed that made it easy to fall asleep after a long gaming session. Even someone as picky about sleep as me found it restful. During New Year's period, the hotel was lively with plenty of family-friendly activities that kept the kids entertained. The guest manager, Xiao Luo, went above and beyond—she reached out before check-in to confirm details and checked in regularly during our stay to ensure everything was satisfactory. On checkout day, she even arranged a late departure without hassle, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room itself was spotless and comfortable, with soft bedding that made for a restful night’s sleep. The housekeeping staff were thorough and attentive, leaving no corner untouched. Every team member we interacted with showed genuine warmth and professionalism. From start to finish, the service felt personal and caring. It’s a perfect choice for families or anyone looking for a welcoming, well-run hotel. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to others.

But what truly stood out was the exceptional service from the staff, especially the personal care provided by the concierge. During New Year’s holiday, the hotel was nearly full with families traveling with kids, which made for some evening noise that even good soundproofing couldn’t fully block out—disrupted my sleep significantly. I also have a sensitive stomach, so lack of rest only worsened things, and I couldn’t handle heavy or greasy meals. That’s when the team stepped in with kindness: they proactively arranged a room transfer to the quieter Water Pavilion area, which made such a difference. To top it off, they brought me a warm bowl of soft, comforting congee with light side dishes right before bedtime. It wasn’t just food—it felt like care. I’ve never felt more looked after during a stay. This level of thoughtful service is rare, and it completely turned my experience around. I’ll definitely be returning.

The view from the room is breathtaking—direct sightlines of the bay and the bridge, whether during the day or at night. What truly stood out was the concert shuttle service; after the show, the driver even offered bottled water, and the vehicle had the artist’s songs playing in the background—a thoughtful touch that made the whole experience unforgettable. I was also impressed by the concierge team: one staff member kindly returned my charging power bank to the mall before I even checked in! Another team member, named Fugui Hua Kai, went above and beyond by personally arranging my transfers, hand-writing a sweet note, and leaving fresh fruit and dessert upon arrival. This level of care made my stay feel personal and special. If you're visiting Xiamen, this hotel should be at the top of your list—excellent service, stunning views, and an unforgettable experience.

What truly stood out was the serene environment; right behind the hotel is a small hill with fresh, clean air that fills the space. Waking up to that peaceful view was such a treat. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive—always smiling, ready to help, and making you feel genuinely welcome. Location-wise, it’s super convenient for getting around the city via public transit, just a short ride to downtown. This place offers exceptional value, and I’d definitely book again.
