Xenones Filotera

Staying at Xenones Filotera was an absolute highlight of my trip to Santorini. Located in Imerovigli, just between Fira and Oia, the hotel offers the perfect balance—serene yet well-connected, with easy access to all the island’s highlights. The view over the caldera is breathtaking, especially during sunset when the sky turns into a canvas of colors. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The pool area is stunning, with panoramic views, plenty of comfortable loungers, and just enough space to relax without feeling crowded. Everything about this place feels thoughtfully designed. From the welcoming atmosphere to the incredible scenery, it's a true gem. If you're looking for a peaceful yet unforgettable stay in Santorini, this is the spot.

Rose Bay Hotel

If you're looking for a relaxing stay with all the comforts, this is absolutely the perfect place. The location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk (leisurely pace) to the beautiful Kamari Beach, where it's less crowded but still packed with great options: local restaurants, beach chairs, and umbrellas. We highly recommend Soul by Splash! You're close to everything without being in the noisy heart of Kamari, which can get hectic. Right next to the hotel is a well-stocked supermarket run by incredibly friendly owners. In just minutes on foot, you're in the vibrant evening scene—plenty of bars, live music, and dining spots. Plus, it’s only a 10–15 minute drive to the airport. Need a car? A rental service called Sergiani is literally within 50 meters—offering cars, motorcycles, and quads at great prices, with super helpful staff. The hotel itself is stunning. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with every modern convenience—only one tiny note: the bathtub had a curtain, which was slightly inconvenient. But overall, the quality was exceptional. The pool area is beautifully maintained, always clean and peaceful. There’s always space on loungers—no early morning drama with towels left behind like in some other hotels. We stayed on the ground floor facing the pool, yet never heard any noise or disturbances. It’s clearly well-managed and popular for good reason. The poolside bar is open all day—perfect for lunch, drinks, or a sunset cocktail. Everything we tried was delicious. Breakfast was an international spread: two large tables filled with fresh pastries, sweet and savory options—everything homemade and outstanding. Dinner was equally impressive; as someone from Italy, I’m picky about food, but every dish exceeded expectations. And the staff? Absolutely incredible. Friendly, attentive, and always smiling. When our bathroom sink started leaking, they fixed it within minutes. Even better—they offered us a late check-out (until 10 PM) because our flight was that late, giving us time to fully enjoy our last day. The housekeeping team greeted us daily with warm smiles and made us feel right at home. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s a home away from home. No flaws to report. Rose Bay Hotel deserves every single star. We’ll be back.

Magma Resort Santorini, Part of Hyatt

This was hands down the best hotel of my trip to Santorini! I only booked it last minute after arriving on the island, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the choice. The room was incredibly spacious—so much more than expected—and the design had a luxurious, modern touch with high-quality finishes throughout. The staff went above and beyond with their hospitality, always friendly and attentive. The pool view? Absolutely breathtaking. With panoramic vistas over the caldera, it’s perfect for sunset moments—no filters needed for photos. Breakfast was a semi-buffet style, and you could freely order fresh eggs, sausages, and other items—super convenient and delicious. It's true that the hotel is a bit far from Fira if you’re relying on public transport, but if you rent a car (which I highly recommend), it’s totally worth it. You’ll have the freedom to explore at your own pace, enjoy scenic drives, and make the most of your stay. Overall, this place offers incredible value and a memorable experience—definitely coming back here next time!

Santorini Kastelli Resort

Staying at Santorini Kastelli Resort in Kamari was a fantastic experience. The hotel is perfectly located—just a short walk from the beach, local cafes, restaurants, and lively bars. With four swimming pools, including a main one right next to the restaurant and bar, there’s plenty of space to relax. The pool opens at 9:30 AM, but early swimmers may be asked to move as guests are having breakfast—so it’s best to wait a bit later. Breakfast was excellent—a generous buffet with a great variety of fresh options. I stayed in a pool-access room located in a quiet, separate area. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, though the bed was firm—perfect for those who prefer a supportive sleep. Overall, the location, amenities, and service made this stay unforgettable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Santorini.

The suite was beautifully designed with a modern yet cozy touch, featuring plush bedding that made for a deeply restful night's sleep. What truly stood out was the staff’s attention to detail and genuine warmth—they anticipated needs before we even asked, whether it was helping with luggage or recommending hidden gems around the island. The location is perfect for exploring the area, with easy access to public transport and scenic walking paths. This place offers luxury without the luxury price tag—absolutely worth every penny. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with top-tier service and stunning views, this is the one.

Grace Hotel, Auberge Resorts Collection

The Grace Hotel truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of magical. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Santorini, with just a 20- to 25-minute ride to any part of the island. The views are absolutely breathtaking—perched right above Skaros Rock, it feels like you're floating above the world. The rooms were spotless, elegantly designed, and packed with modern amenities that made our stay incredibly comfortable. While the on-site facilities are modest—small gym, yoga space—they’re perfectly suited for a serene retreat. The restaurant delivers stunning panoramic views and serves exceptional food, especially the breakfast. A daily-changing five-course breakfast can be delivered to your room for a small fee—such a thoughtful touch. But what truly stood out was the service. Every member of staff went above and beyond with genuine warmth and professionalism. Our concierge was always just a WhatsApp message away—responsive, helpful, and full of local insights. Transportation arranged through the hotel was seamless, with clean, luxury vehicles that saved us time and added a touch of indulgence. It might cost a bit more than booking independently, but the convenience and comfort make it totally worth it. We left feeling pampered and already planning our return visit. This isn’t just a hotel—it’s an unforgettable experience.

NERO Light-Filled Suites

Staying here for two nights was an absolute delight. The hotel is perfectly positioned just 30 meters from one of the best sunset viewing spots on the island, with fantastic restaurants nearby—walking distance to dinner and a perfect view. We booked the deluxe suite with a private courtyard and pool, facing east toward the volcano and Aegean Sea. Waking up to sunrise was magical, and thanks to the orientation, there was zero afternoon sun exposure—perfect for relaxing in the shade. Every photo I took looked like a postcard; no editing needed. The small private patio added charm, and parking was super easy for self-drive guests. No mosquitoes at night—huge plus for families! The breakfast spread was generous and delicious, offering great variety. What really stood out? Kids are welcome here (unlike many other hotels on the island), making it ideal for family travel. Though not perched on the cliff edge, the location offers a unique, peaceful vibe with views of the surrounding hills and sea. On our second day, we experienced strong 7-level winds—my daughter’s sunscreen jacket literally went flying into the Aegean as a tribute! But on calm days, the breeze was absolutely refreshing. Quality of the towels and bathrobes was excellent, and check-in staff Dimitri was incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout. The hotel is still expanding with new units being built down the hill and to the side, but it didn’t affect our stay at all. Overall, this place strikes a perfect balance between comfort, style, and value. Highly recommend for couples seeking a romantic getaway or families wanting a stress-free, scenic escape.

Radisson Blu Zaffron Resort, Santorini

Staying at Radisson Blu Zaffron Resort in Santorini was an unforgettable experience. Located right in the black sand area, the hotel might not have the easiest parking access, but everything else more than makes up for it. The facilities are top-notch, the rooms are spotless, and the staff went above and beyond with their warm hospitality. What truly surprised us was receiving a bottle of local wine upon check-in—such a thoughtful touch that added a special charm to our stay. The view over the Aegean Sea is breathtaking, especially during sunset. Even though it’s a bit off the beaten path, the serene atmosphere and stunning scenery make it well worth the visit. This place offers incredible value and deserves every single star. I’d absolutely return.
