Mansion 1903 Hotel

Staying at this beautifully designed Russian-style hotel was a dream come true. The ambiance is absolutely stunning—perfect for photos, and the spacious bathroom made soaking in a warm bath incredibly relaxing. We happened to be here during Christmas, and the decorations created such a magical atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Breakfast included turkey, and the kids were thrilled with their little snowman gifts. Our room was on the second floor with a small balcony—such a thoughtful touch! The kids could play in the snow outside, then quickly warm up inside when needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and even helped capture some amazing family photos that truly felt like a fairytale. It was such a special experience, especially for the children. I can’t wait to come back—it’s definitely one of the best stays I’ve had in Harbin.

The heating was spot-on, but what truly warmed our hearts was the genuine hospitality from front desk staff Zhang Mingxu—so attentive and friendly, it made us feel instantly at home. After learning we’d braved the cold the day before, he personally handed us cozy hand warmers and heated insoles. We wore them that night and were amazed by how much warmer and more comfortable we felt. Breakfast was an absolute surprise—the dining supervisor, Auntie Huang, even brought a 3D-printed yogurt for our little one with a smile, saying, 'A great day starts with a delicious breakfast.' That moment stole our child’s heart: he refused to leave the hotel the next morning, even when the famous Hongzhuan Morning Market called his name. He kept asking, 'Can we go back to eat Auntie Huang’s special yogurt?' Such thoughtful touches make this stay unforgettable. Truly, the warmth here goes beyond just the heat—it's real human kindness.

They didn’t just handle check-in efficiently — they went above and beyond by sharing local gems like authentic Northeastern cuisine, tips on visiting the Siberian tiger exhibit, and even recommended scenic running routes along the Songhua River. Their knowledge and personal touch instantly made us feel connected to the city, not just as guests but as visitors welcomed with heart. The dining team also stood out, especially Ms. Wang Jinxia. During busy mealtimes, she remained calm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her thoughtful recommendations brought each meal to life, turning every bite into a delightful experience. Our room was cozy and thoughtfully designed, offering panoramic views of the city. Staying in the Executive Lounge was a real highlight — sipping tea while gazing out at the dazzling night lights of the North Bank Ice and Snow World and the serene riverside scenery, all within walking distance of key attractions. The location couldn’t be better, and the lounge offered a peaceful retreat with a touch of elegance. Truth be told, we picked this hotel because of a friend’s strong recommendation — and now we understand why. Shangri-La isn’t just a trusted name for travelers; it’s a brand that feels deeply rooted in the community, respected and cherished locally.
