I booked two different room types separately and was pleasantly surprised when I received the key to my second room immediately after checking out—no waiting until 3 PM the next day. The hotel feels brand new after its recent renovation—bedding is incredibly soft and cozy, and all facilities seem well-maintained and thoroughly checked. Located in a vibrant area of Jeju City, there are plenty of great dining options nearby, and both Dongmun Market and Seobu-dong Pier are just a short walk away. I was sad to leave on my last day—it’s one of those rare stays where you genuinely don’t want to check out. If I ever come back to Jeju, this will be my first choice for accommodation. Highly recommend!

What stood out most? This hostel feels nothing like the typical noisy, crowded youth hostels I’ve experienced elsewhere. During my entire stay, I didn’t see another guest until check-out time. The atmosphere is calm and fresh, perfect for travelers who value quiet and comfort. The room features one large bed and one smaller one placed side by side—plenty of space, and the bathroom is surprisingly spacious too. Plus, they provide toothbrushes and toothpaste, which is rare in Korea where these are usually not included. That little touch made a big difference. I actually wanted to book another night, but it was already fully booked—such a shame! Still, this place earns every bit of its excellent rating. If you’re looking for a serene, well-maintained stay with great value, Hostel Maro is absolutely worth considering.
